This is great. It's so funny how after just over 40 years (at the time), these guys are still generating buzz when they leave the stage and roll by the crowds. Everyone should have this much fun when they're approaching 70.
Amen, Oregon. I'm 65 and still play in a band. The Stones have outlasted them all because they are IT!!! No frills, no bullshit auto-tune 12,000 overdubs gloss-it-up. They are the band that will take you out back, beat your ass, and make you enjoy it!!
awh so cute one of the rolling stones member had a hand held digital camera to remember this moment at 1:17... That means he musta been excited to play at the superbowl :D.
Be glad that the Rolling Stones still exist and perform with their down to the gutter and down to earth music. I don't no any other bands artists, with such direct music. The earth is blessed with them.
The absolute best band I have ever seen in concert. Mick Jagger, is the ultimate front man. Always seems to draw the crowed in, makes you feel as if you are part of the show ( not just in the crowed)
Like Mick Jagger said....."I don't care about the people who hate me, because I'm too busy loving the people who love me".....You people who are here posting nasty comments - Why are you here anyway ? Have nothing else better to do ???
well they made that (the box camera crew) job, seem difficult. how hard is it to say "Now". LOL I love the Stones. just seems overdramatized the "telling them to bow thing". Time is on "My" side don't ever forget it. I bow when "I" want... (says Mick, Keith, Ronny, Charlie)
elar, you are comparing apples to oranges here. There is a huge difference in the Stones music compared to the Beatles. the Beatles were the squeaky clean cut guys and the Stones were the infamous Bad Boys. I love em both but for different reasons. It all has to do with the music they make / made.
Are you smoking crack? Those two are total partners. Keith has even publicly stated that Mick is one of his best friends and they are extremely close. Mick looks anything but boring in here. He is bustling with energy and complimenting everyone on their performance.
2015 paid over $350 each, for 5 front row tickets. Was on the rail, all the way upfront. 2016 paid $950 each for 2 tickets. Vegas. They where cheaper late 80's early 90's,, still worth every penny ( to me . and the people I took, ) For me and most of the people I took, the best fucken performances, I have ever been fortunate enough to witness. I would happily pay over $1000 a ticket, to be in the front row again. Hell over $1000 for seats with unobstructed view of their stage setup. Over 50 years practicing, they have perfected their craft.
It's the Super Bowl. They have to hurry to get all that stuff taken down so the game can get back on, and I guess part of that hurrying is getting the band the hell away as fast as possible. They probably wanted to go relax anyway.
i guess that if u believe in the Show biz and nothing else u can go on until the grave without problems. It's like selling a very unique cocacola can, it makes u feel like a collector, instantly, and probably the more looks old, damaged and useless -hauntingly useless- the more u d get fan about, " i just want that " There's something fascinating and scary at the same time about all this Pyramids, mummies, stone writings... Not so different to what bring anyone back to wanks
I agree, don't own a Stones album after Some Girls. I much preferred Keith when he was a moody drug addict! Mick Taylor made a good move leaving the Stones.
I love the Stones but they never came close to "blowing The Beatles off the charts." They played second fiddle to The Beatles in the 60s, to Zeppelin in the 70's,and by the 80s were irrelevent. And I was embarrassed by their Super Bowl performance.
It is 2017 when this was posted. I saw them July, 4, 2015, at show in Indianapolis Indiana. ( Got married at this show ). Then had tickets for October, 19th show in Vegas ( got canceled ) Still the best damn live band I have ever seen. that made my 5th time seeing them. Excellent show, every time. Thank you, Charlie, Ronnie, Keef, Darrell, Mick, and the rest of the touring band.
This video of them leaving was better than their performance. Talk about Rough Justice for the viewing audience to have to sit through that awful performance....
