Great review, I'm buying one! I'm not kidding here, I bought my first Stewart Golf buggy 15 years ago and I am still using the original battery. After all those years of work on tough Aussie tracks my buggy needs to be replaced: the joints have got a little tired!

Very cool indeed! Wonder if it will ever come up with a version of that that looks like R2-D2 that would get lots of attention on the course! If they ever do… Count me in. Great videos Gabe, Love this channel keep them coming!

Nice to see a British product featured! I recently rented a Powakaddy on a hilly course and it freed me up to really just concentrate on golf, which is what I loved about it versus a push cart. One of these just takes that to the next level, and would be awesome!

followup observation - one of the things i notice with having a remote control buggy is i spend a lot of time worrying where the thing is going and i don't take in where i am...this would fix that completely!

Don’t be fooled, the trolly is ok as a remote controlled trolly but the follow feature isn’t as good as advertised. If you walk really slowly it’s ok but it doesn’t keep up with you when walking at normal pace!

Upgrade options for the next version would be: distance numbers, wind speed and direction at the ball, club suggestions and a score tracker would be nice. But what an cool idea, and it seems to work pretty good too.

The best golf cart. I have had mine for over six years and I love it.

I use that same 66 Sacks Parente putter, and love it! But presently I use a Batcaddy x8r. It is light years behind.

One must constantly move the fob back and forth in follow mode. They need a button on the cart that will suspend follow vs uncliping and recliping the fob for every shot. Leave it clipped to your back so you can eliminate possibility of dropping the fob. An "on-in-off" button on the cart elinates and extra step. Otherwise a cool device.

Does it have a trailer hitch so I can tow a cooler?😅 I would consider this but hav a knee that is not so good so I would be afraid of that a little but more walking could also be good medicine 👍

t is unfortunate that he is either biased or too excited owning one as it is new in his experience and has not tried other brands. Although my comments below are about x9 i have tested too and is on same technology so allow the slack. here is my honest review after owning a x9 for 2 years: the follow function is indeed unique but you end up using it a fraction of time. noisy when in function. very heavy and bulky compared to competitors. front wheel does not rotate resulting to jerky turns and fast wear and tear of front wheels.. umbrella holder that you have to buy separately mounts in one of the ball holder holes, it is flimsy with a little wind under your umbrella, the hole handle and holder will break apart, hence i never dare to use it. plastic used on the overall machine looks and feels cheap while you pay premium price. movements are jerky. don't expect finesse. remote control is bulky big and looks like a 90's cellphone. the buttons will wear off fast and you will end up feeling your thumb after your round. around greens , if there are small heels ( usually are) the connection will be lost. Motors are bare on left and right side behind rear wheels with a none reenforced connection to gearbox resulting to vulnerability. in my case, the right side motor broke and fell during trip to the course in the car. repair took 7 months. Customer service is lagging behind. Paying 2.2k euro, and fetching the most expensive one in the market, one expect more quality. I guess i fell victim of the same marketing as here. My point, go and check it out and play a round with one before you pay top dollar for it. I already know which one will be my next purchase and it is not SG. ali

£1700 here in the UK. Same price as a second hand 2-seater golf buggy. But it looks like an awesome piece of kit.

Of all the toys you get to play with, this is the one that I WANT!! How heavy is it? Regardless of the battery life, I’m sure it will die on me sometime. Probably when I’m furthest from the clubhouse. Pushing a heavy cart might be a problem. Also, wonder if flat terrain extends the playable battery life as opposed to hilly conditions. This is now on my Wish List!

It would be nicer if the cart itself had a pause/stop button so you can leave the remote attached to your belt while in follow mode. Clipping and unclipping each time becomes a pain. Maybe ver 2.0 🙂

Have you tried any Caddytrek units? If you have how would you rate the comparison. Loved this video.

YIKES they are expensive. Thanks for the review but WAY too much for my blood. I use a push cart I bought at Big 5 for $40 and it goes wherever I want it to go! :)

Great looking cart, solid review

Had a Stewart Follower for 3 YEARS - didn’t make it on follow mode without breaking Due to fattige plastic. Had technical Highschool in Stockholm to examine it and came back - weak construction💩🕳🎯 The handle fell down broken in Follow mode, tried to Claire, with HK service rejected, went up to CEO aldo rejected… Had to buy new handle,,went to service and had it replaced! The CEO claimed me using too much power handling it, so saker service an I the only one replacing broken handle… he laughed me no you are the fight in short Time🤮🕳🎯🥊 Also the battery didn’t even make it 18 holes in spring /autumn - Claim rejected 🤬 Its not a Rolls Royce handling just the Price, not worth it.

Impressive, really tempting but, too pricey for a fanatic 70 year old golfer. Props with the presentation.

This cart is awesome! Looks a bit creepy when it follows you though. Seems like it folds down to a pretty small size which would come into handy. That thing was even popping wheelies out there! Enjoyed the video Gabe!

I own the X9 Remote. After years with the standard 18hole-battery, i can play every hilly course with no problem. Any problems!?..🤔... NO🤷🏻‍♂️

Had to come back and watch this one since in all your vlogs you are using it. I usually ride but I have been walking more cause I like having my clubs nearby, it''s good exercise and usually just do nine anyway. It's not a must have product, but one I could see myself getting at some point. Very thorough and fair review man. I hope you at least gave it a name.

$2900 is super expensive for this. I would love to get one, but not at this price.

I have a question ... is it possible to keep the remote on the back of your pants in follow mode, grab a club and hit your shot? Is the cart within striking distance of the club? ... this is in fairway situations... im thinking it stays several feet away from you so perhaps there is room to swing.. thanks in advance, best wishes.. Nice cart but definitely looks like the rear support “wheelie” wheels should be out a little farther or the bag needs to sit a touch more forward because the front wheels were routinely lifting off the ground which tells me going uphill is gonna be sketchy.

One question Gabe - what bag do you recommend with this cart? I assume your bag can't be to lite or to heavy

That is a cool caddy, my wonder is, how is the clip on the back of that remote, is there a chance of it breaking then you don’t have a choice but to keep it in your pocket, I also noticed if you start and stop constantly it looks like it wants to tip backwards glad there is the anti-tip tire . I do love the follow though, and it looks really nice.

This review is fantasy. I bought a Stewart Golf Q Follow cart after watching this review and am very disappointed in the quality of build, stability, and software. Quality: the electric connection from the charger to the cart's main battery is cheap and flimsy, reminiscent of my first Heath Kit back in the 1970s and I had to dismantle the brand new hand held controller to glue down it's battery because it was loose and rattled inside of the controller (cheap and no quality control here). Stability: my cart frequently tips over scattering my golf bag and clubs onto the fairway. Also, the cart tips backward and falls over when climbing moderately steep hills. It tips sideways and falls over when it encounters moderate deviations in the ground's surface like a root or transitioning from fairway to cart path . Software: sometimes pressing a button on the hand controller results in the cart surging forward violently often crashing into something or someone (I nicknamed my cart "Ankle Biter" because of this). And there is no way to slow down the cart once it starts down a slope, it just takes off letting gravity accelerate it and, when careening down a hill, the cart ignores the hand controller signals to slow down. The cart isn't exactly crap but it's not "The rolls Royce of Electric Golf Carts", it's more like "An Overpriced 1970 MG".

Fell into some decent problems and need to sell my zip navigator AT. I need help selling it gabe. I know your not in business of solicitation. Im not trying too. I sware. I just need money for my girls.

I had the X9 and bought the Q and am honestly disappointed. Feels like a downgrade. Not as stable, follow function is unreliable. Probably going to sell it and get an Alphard eWheels now they have the follow functionality.

I have old version. And build quality is so terrible, that i will never dare to buy this one. As even from video i can recognise and smell some cheap plactic. It also stopped being stabile in following, so you never know if it will keep following for sure, or if it will stop.

Anyone out there have problems with the follow mode stopping ever 30 feet. I don’t use mine anymore. To me it’s just a q remote from here on. The fucking losers from JPSM golf in Canada won’t help.
