Lithuania's The Roop have said they want to sing at Eurovision 2021 after ESC2020 was cancelled. Our Deban reacts to their national final performance. This was filmed prior to the news that Eurovision would not happen this year.

It really was, they were my nr 1. I did vote for them in the unofficial eurovision finale but Iceland won. (Norways eurovision finale show).

100% would have won. If not then 2nd or 3rd depending on juries (they normally screw up things)

@@nilerra8181 is it? Who won jury last year? Switzerland? Norway? Cyprus? No. North Macedonia and Sweden with impactful songs and perfect vocals. Who won two years ago? Israel? Cyprus? No. Austria. Again with vocals. Juries tend to prefer impactful and crescendo songs over out-of-the-box ones. So yeah. This year Norway, Bulgaria and Switzerland would have won the Jury voting. For sure.

@@fernandosa8807 Still. Lithuania would have been Top 5 or so with juries I think. You don't need to win juries to win Esc. I didn't see it being "destroyed". again it was slick, professional and well produced. Those 3 you mention could have done well juries + Lithuania + Sweden, Malta, Romania, Italy, Germany or Netherlands. There were so many jury bait entries

I really love this song. It has a lightness and silliness to it that I really adore. To me it's about truly being who you are, despite what others may think or say.

Yk, sometimes Debon can rly grind my gears (in the most endearing sort of way) 😂😂 but I rly loved his energy in this video haha. It seems that Deban has a problem with Lithuania. He never likes anyone from Lithuania. Deban, my friend, what’s wrong with you? Has any Lithuanian insulted or made you hurt in any way? If so- I want to apollogize for my fellow Lithuanians, but this should not reflect in your evaluation of songs. Please.

I think you're wrong. He is really good friends with Andrius Pojavis and Sasha Son. He has also visited Lithuania, and has Lithuanian friends. He is not crazy about "On Fire" but he LOVES Lithuania.

I never liked any ESC entry from Lithuania either. I don't have problem with Lithuanians, in fact I don't know any Lithuanian personally. But gosh, how sorry I am for this entry...! This is my No1 this year along with Switzerland, seriously, has been listening to it for almost a month now, they are seriously robbed. Please next year send us something similar! :)

I think it could have been in top 15. It's quite catchy. But to be honest I have weird feeling about this song. From one hand is catchy and I like it, but other hand I dont know why to me this guy has weird vibe and not in a good way... And also in my opinion the staging was just too much. Btw Deban I love your hair!

Good point: it is super catchy and memorable, but at the same time feels very basic to win Eurovision. It lacks "weight".

Don’t get me wrong but I have a feeling this could’ve been a surprise non qualifier this year! The song is great, I’m not saying otherwise, but look at what happened with Latvia and Triana Park back in 2017! Everyone loved Line and it didn’t even qualify, so who knows? This obviously had winner potential but you never really know with Eurovision 🤷🏻‍♂️
