One can only hope of playing like these guys, not just the Rosenbergs but all the greats. Angelo debarre, tchavolo Schmitt, Raphael fays and even my god father Moreno winterstein were all incredible players
Back in the day those up-temp tunes were hard and you had to consciously remember to breathe. These guys did it right; played it the way it should be played.
+TheAnalogFAN This is not only Ellington's theme, This song was composed by Juan Tizol, when he played in the band of Duke Ellington, but is officially recognized as a jazz standard composed by Juan Tizol and Duke Ellington... excellent performance, the Rosenberg Trio of that time was at its best.
I know it, but in many sources the composer's name I saw Duke Ellington only. In co-authorship with Juan Tizol this I've founded later. The Rosenbergs are incredible!
