I understood the difference between desire and intention through lucid dreaming. In lucid dreams when you want an apple to change its color into blue you don’t say “I want/wish this apple to become blue”, you say “this apple is blue”. Want and wish are the same, don’t be mistaken. And never think in future tense: everything is now and intention is about manifesting

I think the key is balance. Balance between acknowledgment of your own trajectory and what you're doing to effect it and acknowledgment that the All has a plan for you regardless and you only have so much control over things. Accept the things I cannot change kind of thing. Just my thoughts.
I went to my local rose cross lodge to learn more about this. Amorc is the most well known rose cross order and very much accessible. They handed me the book : the chemical wedding of christian rosenkrutz. Before reading the book, i had a dream where im flotting in space and i see the planet mars and other planet. Dude, I still daydream. It's called maladaptive daydreaming. I have been asking myself for the last week, "where is your will?". It feels like I just have no discipline at all. Desire is different from acting impulsively on temptations. Man, I am in recovery and the just for today is about surrendering to God's will. I have been in the grieving part of the denial process. I been saying no surrender and that old behavior is limiting me.

They tried to get me to join. It was very strange. I was doing this technique mentally while being in an interview and the guy asked me what I was doing. I said nothing. He said, no, you're doing something. I said I am projecting myself to the upper corner of the room to calm myself down. He later invited me to join but I got strange signs warning me away.
To be fair, if someone told me they were projecting themselves into the upper corner of the room as a technique to calm their nerves… I too would probably query about their interest in the occult sciences. That’s an unusual technique for someone to use, and even more unusual to come out and tell a stranger in an interview that’s what you’re doing lol, so it would be nice to connect with someone with similar interests. I could see how someone’s affiliation with an order could come up in that type of conversation.

I too often regret not searching for esoteric teachings when I was younger, however it was very difficult as my mindset was completely different and my younger mind was full of ego . My journey to finding some peace and understanding myself better, came about from the wisdom one acquires with ageing and finding the selfish ego to be silly and quite ridiculous. All this self realisation came without look for a religious group or an ideology, and I can’t help realising that everything happens for a reason and happens exactly when it is supposed to, by letting go and accepting life on life’s terms. I was subscribed to OMNI magazine at age 10. Through the many ads there, I almost joined the Rosicrucian order. I sent off for their "Mastery of Life" materials, a few pamphlets and a small booklet. Though it was interesting, I didn't join. I knew more than they did, not to brag. I also turned down a free-ride scholarship to MIT along with a MENSA invite. Why join a "smart people club" that charges membership dues? I was 12 by then, and perceived that if they take membership dues, they will be tempted to let in people who aren't actually worthy, in order to make money from dues. That was a huge turn-off for me, especially since it was the '80s and no one in my family really knew what MENSA was. Meh, whatever. It was never important. The God of Heaven revealed to me the highest of all secrets, even that which the Rosicrucians were founded upon. I have raised a leapord gecko from the dead into at least 3 breeding populations of similar but different and unique species, using the secrets of Alchemy. It is the Science of Creation, which God revealed to Adam in the Garden, and which Christ spoke of secretly in every one of His parables. It is the foundation and root of all religions and of many creation myths.
