The irony is Harry has more actual military accolades than his brother and was a higher rank than him. Because of his position in the line of succession William never got to see actual military missions. It’s similar to Prince Andrew being able to go to the Falklands and the then Prince Charles barely being allowed to go to countries with armed disputes

If Harry had receiving actual military accolades, he would have them on his medal or ribbon rack. Even more irony.. Harry doesn't own a medal or ribbon rack. Golden Jubilee medal Received by staff of the queen and her relatives. Not a military achievement. Diamond Jubilee medal Received by staff of the queen and her relatives. Not a military achievement. Platinum Jubilee medal Received by staff of the queen and her relatives. Not a military achievement. William has the same medals as Harry except for the participation medal one receives if they step foot in Afghanistan. Harry's rank of CAPTAIN is not something spectacular. You are automatically promoted when you have: 5 Years service 2.5 years at RD Junior Officer Leadership Programme Joint Officer Tactical Awareness course Military Knowledge 1 The biggest irony of all though is when Harry threw a fit and resigned his commission before he even ended his second tour. You should also know that William did fly missions they were just never revealed because of obvious reasons, so for you to say he didn't also shows you are not familiar with protocol.

@@jshipp5469 Harry served in Afghanistan for a total of 30 weeks (10 & 20) of his '10 year' military service. He was always on the base, far away from the actual action. Sadly, two American soldiers lost their lives when the base was bombed on Harry's birthday as the British military had announced his return to service and he was targeted. Andrew spent far more time fighting in the Falklands and William spent far more time actually serving the people through his roles as with search and rescue and air ambulance.

@@jshipp5469 There is a reason he was nicknamed 'Bunker Harry'. He had full time body guards protecting him the whole time he was in Afghanistan. He would never have gotten into Sandhurst if he was anyone else, given his poor academic performance. He failed his pilot test three times, and that is with a lot of extra over and above training and special help, so he wasn't serving, he was a nuisance and a liability. There are reports of him drinking and taking off when drug tests were being administered, and being physically abusive to the local prostitutes. Given his insensitive comments in his book about killing Taliban, it appears he equated combat to playing video games and getting a good score. I have no respect for his military 'service' and it appears those that served with him do either.

BS, he is known as Bunker Harry for a reason. William was a Navy Rescue pilot, highly skilled and dangerous job.

Harry never saw any action and if you believe he has you're a bigger fool than he is.

The only action Henry saw, was on the video games he was playing in that bunker he was being protected in.

@@SelinaBarton-ij5iz Malevolent rumour that only started once he had (A) left his royal role and (B) started taking legal action against elements of the tabloid press. He did two tours in Afghanistan, one with the army in 2008 and the second with the air force in 2012, serving as an Apache helicopter co-pilot and gunner. It is difficult to fly Apache attack helicopters in a bunker.
