The RSI Polaris: My Thoughts and Comments

The release price will match or exceed an 890Jump, so 750USD is a nice discount. I paid 300USD for my Orion mining ship and 350USD for my Pioneer. And I know the release prices of both of those ships will go up... WAY UP. Early adopter discount price... enjoy it. I also own a Polaris with LTI. I think I paid 600USD for mine... been so long I can't exactly remember, lol.

@@ShadowGirl- correct. Along with life support, I imagine there will be the ability to upgrade such systems, just like the other systems onboard ships. You do raise a valid point though

@@epyonrsi8829 I use OBS. I just record my entire gameplay session each time I play and delete it if there’s nothing worth keeping, so each 2-2.5 hour recording can be a good 10-15gb. You can adjust quality, resolution, bitrate, etc. so you can have smaller or larger size files.

Considering how the insurance will work, LTI isn't what many of us thought it would be originally. 3 months insurance in this game is in real play time. That means it can and will last much longer than 3 months. It works out to around 2160 hours of gameplay. That is more gameplay than most people have spent on any single game they own by a longshot. Also, basic insurance which is what LTI is will be cheap to purchase. Upgraded insurance is where we will start to feel it on the balance sheet and those with LTI will need to purchase this as well.

I got the exploration pack back when it was 650$ and earbond upgraded from the carrack for 100$ boom lti polaris for 750$ that comes with 4 more ships
