@@veloboy1How do you think the peoples fathers get wealth to inherit only 3 percent of millionares recieved an inheritence above 5000 dollars your just lazy
yeah wich is why i already ordred a 4080 super 2 weeks ago (two more weeks before it arrives at my house). even if i wanted to hang on to my money for a 5080, it'll probably be made out of un-obtainium till late 2025 when they start making it out of real matierals like silicon.
@@mathiasoddernicolajsen8454 it's a nick name for product launches where the company that is launching the product doesn't hardly have any stock to fill the demand of the product. it's quite common with video cards particularly. like back when nvidia first launched the Geforce 8800GT they only had like 2000 cards produced at launch day, when demand was gona be in the millions. another paper launch was the 3090. it's dubbed a paper launch because hardly any one is going to get one. oh and that 2000 cards was total , that counted the review samples making the actual "cards to sell" much lower than that even.
@@mathiasoddernicolajsen8454it’s when you release a product and say it’s for sale even tho you know it’s not even close to the numbers needed to supply the demand. As in they have 500 cards for 500,000 buyers “It’s for sale” Yea, for like 30 seconds
@Nobodycares392 I'd guess they'll be about equal. The 4070Ti is about equal with a 3090. I'm really hoping it won't be as power hungry or as hot as a 4090, though...
i doubt the 5080 will be 2000 bucks , but it sure as hell won't be cheap i'm betting atleast $1300 and nivida will act like it's steal at that price and they are just taking it up the A** from us customers charging so "little" for it.
Dang that price is gonna be insane also over 49 comments In just ten minutes I hope you know that even if you have less than a million subscribers you have a very interactive comment section and community good job 👍👍👍
i think its to avoid immediately shooting their 4090 sales in the foot. The 4090s still sell reasonably at 2k, and the minute something better comes out, the market then has to determine the new value of the 4090 in comparison to the 5090, and assess which one is worth more in value proposition, which also means they *have* to competitively price the 5090 and undercut themselves to a degree to even have a successful launch. tricky work.
on top of that , they have also Choked 4080 supply since the release of the 4080 S. seriously i orderd a 4080 super 2 weeks ago and i still got another 2 weeks of waiting for it to ship to me. Nvidia really stepped on 4080 S production. so 5080 releasing first makes sense . and also logically they'll completely stop 4080Super production when it releases. the fact is Nvidia in their eyes took hit on the 4080Super by making it 200 dollars cheaper than the previous 4080 was. it;'s part of why they haven't produced enough 4080 S's to over stock store shelves. that and they still haven't sold those OG 4080's either. i think by releasing the 5080 first they will view it as cleaning up the 4080 mess , get it behind them and make like it never happened.
Depends what monitor resolution you want to use and export to? This will determine the budget allocated to the GPU. If you are sticking to 1080p 60hz I'd make sure you have a gen 5 AMD CPU motherboard as a priority for being able to upgrade later. You won't be able to work at 4k for 700 USD, and 1440p is a disused format for video content, so I'd get the motherboard, an 800w pcu and 16gb of ram. I'd then start with something like a rtx3060 or AMD equivalent, then research cpus that don't bottleneck the GPU. If there is budget remaining or in deficit, go up or down a GPU tier and rinse repeat the CPU research. Just what I'd do, I'm pretty green on the topic so hopefully others can help.
I just hope creators laptops with a 50 series and all those NPU shenanigangs will be worth it. Mine is over 5y old, but I haven't seen a portable rig worth replacing it with yet.
is 4060 okay with a ryzen 5 5600g? (note: no AMD alternatives are available here, and if they're here, they're overpriced asf, for example, 6700xt costs $900 here)
It is a perfect price/performance combo, if you havent bought the r5 5600g yet, just get a 5600, it is a bit better and the G version has an iGPU (integrated graphics card) in it. And if you are buying them from scratch, you could look at AM5 too.
If you're referring to the 1080ti, it depends on the game and resolution. Unfortunately, Vram limitations will probably be the nail in the coffin for it. For now, 1080p gaming is still strong on it.
@@beefestrogen5276 the 1080ti has 11gb of vram, which is still good enough for 1080p and 1440p on older games, maybe it will pose a problem in 5-6 years but I think the performance will be the limiting factor if developers optimise their games right. Half-life 2 ran on the original xbox. Optimization can make games run on hardware that is very slow.
@@HQdefault64 5-6 Years is a little optimistic. Honestly in 2 years we'll see budget cards that just make the 1080 not make much sense to run. Hell even the 3060 has slowly begun to creep in its place.
Dog I got a question last thing I think you posted about budget 700 gaming pc budget setup I was wondering if you could update it. Thx. I’m trying to switch from ps4 to pc
I just want to see the new amd gpu series, because they're redoing the raytracing, so it could be equal with nvidia, and if they are doing that then they might make it beefier in production tasks.
they should do like a special edition where they just combine every old gtx gpu's looks and combine it into 1 while having good performance (or maybe its just my dream and it will never come true just like my dad did :))
Not really, the 80 tier has always been the first to release ever since the 600 series as far as I am aware. Only the 4000 series made the 90 tier the first card available
I feel like i should just wait then to upgrade and get like a 5070 when it releases since im still on a 3060 and my pc is only about 6-7 months old now
its not hard to guess why NV wanted to released RTX 5080 first, it is to bypass China ban restriction. The RTX 5080 is expected to have similar performance to 4090D, hence they can be released in China
If I had to guess, they're delaying the 5090 bc its having more heat/melting issues than the 4090. Wait 6 months post launch to be sure they got the bugs out
Since 2017 i went with with 60s (2060, and in the 2021 i bought the 3060, i always buy after the new series comes out ) but it feels like after 3 years its impossibile to play new games even on low graphics, last year i bought a 21:6 3440x1440p monitor, and right now im wondering if i should take for once the best gpu the market has to offer so i dont have to spend money on it for the next 10 years i hope, btw right now i have a ryzen 7 78003DX
To be honest the reason they didn't release the 4090 first was because the card was not complete hardware wise and still needed more testing and as we saw that alot ppl came out with burned 4090 after using it in a while.. that's my theory.
Think how I feel. I always have to have the top pc parts and my current pc is running multiple 4090s which means will have to replace 4 4090s with 5090s. Also maybe need to tie all the 50s direct into the power grid.
