I say this with much love Steven, A lot of people including myself have been feeling like your stuff is Walmart. Your sounds are good across the board and that’s a problem. I mentioned in a Reddit post that your samples could be better (maybe even phenomenal if executed correctly) if your producers and sound designers were very well versed in the different voices and modes within a certain genre. Sounding like a genre isn’t enough, it has to feel like it too. All your chords voices ‘feel’ the same across all genres so it makes everything more generic and watered down instead of unique and special. Your sound designers are great and if you incorporated more emphasis on the chord voicings and specific key modes that make a genre special I 100% guarantee you’ll be killing the competition.
Congrats. I'm new to production and the marketplace is overwhelming and honestly a lot of it feels like people are trying to trick money out of better who just don't know better. I found your channels through the last video, 30 minute beat, and that's the type of content that helps. That little extra of not just heres samples but heres how and why to use them, or what makes it suited in one way or another, is super helpful.
Yes there are many brands that are basically trying to resell you things that are already available in most DAWs with a new skin. You can see and hear the quality of Cymatics as a brand they make some very impressive sounds, and they give about 10% of there entire sound library's for free in beta packs, its hard not to like what they do.
I just finished mixing my entry to the contest. I made a short. I haven't mastered it. it's 🔥. Love your samples. Cymatics has the best in the game. It's all I use now.
Congrats! Let's get more EDM Dj/Producers on the show. Guy's like Afrojack are in the business of sharing tips and giving advice. Anyway, good to see you've kept that ship sailing
By far the 2 best websites for average so called youtube/internet producer like myself... This collab makes so much sense, I was worried yall was beefing or something... Downloading the trap genesis beta pack now.. Can't wait to start cookin.... Much love everyone.... If anybody out there wants to work, collab or whatever, leave me a comment
I think the most critical concern for some producers and followers is the culture. Not everyone follows producer grind for sound packs. Although I understand the main preseason is to make revenue-some tap in because of the culture and the products. I do say this with all due respect to everyone. Honestly, it's your company now, and you get to do what you feel is best for your success-also, a big shot out to the original producer grind team. Anytime you can build a product, show value, sell it, and partner with other entities, that's a success! 💙
I would like to see a podcast with Bishu, even a sample pack collaboration with him, he does every style of music, even blending Genres that don't exist and making it work. To gain incite into his craft and the way he sets up his vocal chain has to be asked as countless people always ask him and he gets so many messages I don't think he gets the time to read them all and see that question, of course we know his got autotune but what else? Also producer WhiteMayo and HeathStone let's get these guys on here that haven't blown up but still have talent and so much knowledge, if we find them on RU-vid and get this happening before they blow up and become to hard, time poor and expensive to get a hold of, I mean if you don't know of HeathStone you should look him up his Trap beats are at times Cinematic and it just blows my mind his work ethic, I know HealthStone uses FL Studio and that's about all I know.
Sick! Congratulations! I used to listen to Producer Grind podcast a bunch and then pivoted to the Cymatics one when it came out. Excited to check it out again!
@@LMarquee After 8 months not 2 years, I don't know why I thought 2 years lol. I see Ant Chamberlin cook up on Producer grind, hard face hard dark sounds, turns out the guy is actually a really really good guy with heart, never judge a book by its cover.
What kind of sucks is that I had this video loaded to watch when I got home from work today. I listened to 2 new (finally lol) Producer Grind podcasts while working today... Well I get home and settled and go to load this video to see what the "rumor" was and all of a sudden i get a notification pop up from someone with the video titled "Cymatics Buys Producer Grind?!" ..... Totally blew the surprise lol. But I'ma watch this anyways to hear the entirety of the situation.
Excited to have the PG interviews back. Great acquisition and congrats to Dylan on the sale. As long as PG stays true to its roots the sky is the limit!
Oh yeah! I’m excited!!! I love ❤creating House/Techno music and would love to see you all have Carl Cox, Terry Hunter, Derrick May, Juan Atkinson and Kevin Saunderson featured in a podcast 😊
I want to see DJ Superjam on the podcast. I know for sure he's poured tons of money into your products so I feel it would be fitting to allow him some airtime!
Glad I read the comments before watching the full video. Congratulations on the partnership/acquisition. I’ll be in ATL more over the next few years. Let’s chat!
Yoo Cymatics x PG is fucking nuts! Also try hooking up some artists in there! I would specifically love to see NEFFEX, (I'd like to know his way of success deeper and his connections in industry etc.) And also Vin Jay (heavily underrated rapper and his place in industry nowadays for his success he has)!
I didn't like PG for the simple fact there stuff was not royalty free all the kits I would get from them it had a producers tag and a royalty split sheet in them... no thanks I'm good sorry.
