I lived 5 years of my life in Zaporozhye. It was quite a hostile place for foreigners. Though many people were nice but the people with Nazi mentality outnumbered them.
A huge bluff to deceive those who believe it, they have no forces to protect the front, they are using the last resources to attack Kursk, and now they have enough men for an attack on the Zaporizha power plant? Probably the Kursk project is failing miserably, and they must shift public opinion to a new front, to keep the interest alive🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Maybe they see these nuclear power plants as bargaining chips. Zelensky did say the Russian territory could be exchanged for Ukrainian territory, as well as captured Russians for Ukrainian POWs. The most ominous part is that Ukraine is forbidden by its own law from negotiating peace with Russia while Putin is in power. That decree was signed Oct 2022, you can look it up. If they're genuinely planning negotiation they must also have a plan to eliminate Putin.
bluff here, bluff there, bluff everywhere. Meanwhile everything Russia is doing (or not doing) makes it look like they have even fewer reserves than Ukraine.
On the night of August 20, a series of fires broke out on military facilities in Europe which were involved in military supplies to Ukraine. A large fire broke out at the warehouses located on the outskirts of the city of Brasov in Romania. The facilities belong to the Eurotex company. The warehouses stored various military equipment, including UAVs, and medicines prepared for transfer to the AFU. The fire spread over an area of more than 10,000 square meters. 12 fire brigades were involved in its extinguishing. Another incident took place at night in Poland. Three trucks full of military equipment for the Ukrainian army burned out on their way from military warehouses to the airfield. The cargo included military equipment, casques, bulletproof vests, and ammunition. As a result of the fire, the loud secondary detonation was heard in the villages of Aleksandrovitsa and Muravitsa located nearby. These are far from the first mysterious incidents on military facilities in European countries, involved in military supplies to the war-torn Ukraine.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' attack on the Kursk region threatens to accelerate Ukraine's defeat and thus lead to peace negotiations in Russia's favor, according to an article published in the Die Welt newspaper. Author Christoph B. Schlitz gives four reasons why this will happen: Firstly, the West's willingness to supply urgently needed weapons is more likely to decrease in the short term than to increase, the observer noted. Secondly, Ukraine is likely unable to hold the occupied territories, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces do not have the necessary engineering equipment to dig in, and, in addition, they are under constant fire from Russian artillery, drones and glide bombs. "Thirdly, the operation in the Kursk region complicates and weakens the defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. By unexpectedly attacking Russian territory, Ukraine has increased the front line. In light of the obvious shortage of its own military, this is an extremely risky strategy," the author noted. Fourthly, according to Schlitz, Kyiv’s expectation that Russia would send forces deployed in other parts of the front to the Kursk region “was only partially justified.” "To put it simply: Ukraine is threatened with defeat in the Kursk region in the medium term, like the second German tank division in the Ardennes in 1944 (referring to the Ardennes offensive operation of the Wehrmacht during World War II)," Schlitz noted.
Thanks for sharing your sources my deer Severni friend. Kursk "proves" to European eyes that Russia is too weak and cannot possibly attack Europe. The NATO hawk narrative is undermined, at the time when European politics are shifting away from the Macrons and Scholzes and Johnsonns of this world.
Only problem is Putin has said there is no negotiation now. The chance has been and gone. I think the incursion into kursk region was a bit of a mistake.
I don't know. Each day it seems Ukraine is making progress in Kursk. They are also laying the ground work to take a sizeable chunk of territory south of that river. I didn't expect them to do as well as they have for as long as they have in Kursk.
from logic of NAFO bot . need the man Still working in NAto military and have public fighting in ukraine war = Nato attacked Russia. best dumb brain ever
lol if NATO was actually involved on the ground Russia would be steam rolled like the Iraqi army was back in the 90s. NATO is barely drip feeding Ukraine supplies. It’s like 1% commitment compared to the combined power of the alliance. Pray we don’t decide to actually come over there.

@@louise_rose The EU project was never about peace - from its inception it was about imposing and protecting US hegemony and foreign policy. Just take a look at where all those high taxes you pay go.
It almost seems like Sirsky and friends wanted to snatch the nuclear power plants in Kursk and Sapparozhia and seemingly give up Donetsk for capturing areas in Kursk? What kind of madness is that? Did they really believe the Russians would started negotiations under such circumstances?

Well Ruaf is about the size that attacked Finland alone during WW2... And obviously not big enough for any all out total war. Messing around in Ukraine for years pretty much says it all.. It should have been over by now if Russia committed large enough forces for sure. With that said, I don't think that was the main reason for going there. I agree with that.
Putin flying to one of his regions to ask for something - wow, dude, can you share the shit you smoke?😂🤦🏻 He can easily call and order, or tell anybody to come to Moscow or Sochi where Putin gives his orders. He does not ask, dude, he orders. Sometimes you sound like a child.
Have you just woken up from your wet dreams?? President Putin treats his people with respect. He is not a dictator like zelensky and NATO leaders. Wake up be real

Your opinion as for propose of the President visit in Chech is quite stupid. The President doesn't have to visit a region to move russian military forces to the combat area. Chechnya is a part of Russia. President visited Chechnya and north osetia on his way back from Azerbaijan
I wonder why this topic has comments censored. Maybe blanket policy against describing movements of potentially targeted VIPs? 🤔 The more I learn about this algorithm the more I find it applies universally and not to single out some paranoids for being on the right side of history.
Putin went to Chechnya specifically because it is the 20th anniversary of the terrorist attack on the kindergarten. He went to pay tribute to the victims and to lay flowers on the memorials of that tragic event. He also met with representatives of the parents who lost children. Head and shoulders above leaders in the West.
We know Kiev doesn't care about its losses, but so far the situation in Kursk is quite a shitshow for Russia, that's acting like it has no reserves at all. And Kiev is poised to double its controlled area within the next days, if it actually has the reserves it claims to have for this op.
@@denxeroHoneslty ur right about it being a shitshow but its definitely strategic failure for Ukraine to further thin out its frontline and expend resources to hold a tiny bit of Russias land and none of its resources
Poutine is not in Chechnya to ask Kadyrov about military support, Poutine is a politician, if he had requests about military support he would have sent Gerasimov or Balousov, this is complete non sense from Dima again.
Who cares about your semantics. The question is "where are the fabled Russian reserves?". Nowhere to be seen so far, and the situation in Kursk is a lot worse than the snarky smug pro-Russian online fanboys want to admit.
Agree - also, notice that these troops have no more air cover than Ukraine had during their hyped-up SCO last summer. The US would never do something like this, with their OWN army, without hundreds of aircraft to protect their troops.
You know whats more embarrassing is then "Driving tanks and running aimlessly through forests Doesn't you control Territory"? That after two weeks you are not able to push out the ukrainians who "Driving tanks and running aimlessly through forests Doesn't you control Territory". Thats the point the pro russian side is to stupid to get .
The indent in Kursk is one big fire pocket. For Russia it is not part of the SMO but it is a anti terrorist operation. For Ukrainian soldiers/NATO troops it is surrender or die. If NATO wants to go ahead and expand losses and let more troops have a one way ticket it is their call.
@@kellscorner1130 No it will not, the world will end, because Russia will not "fold" without sending a few nuclear warheads on NATO countries. Do you understand what is the MAD doctrine or are you completelky uneducated ?
Thank you for this interesting information. Unfortunately Dima's analysis is widely contested as a pro NATO bias. Sad, it brings into question the validity and reliability of the content of this channel. The report has become a little hysterical in tone.

yeah I been saying all along all 4 of these nuclear plants in Ukraine need to really be protected because "Desperate People do Deperate things" especially when one side is slowly losing a war,,, and the Russians are not the ones that look desperate ..also this is an US election year and the current administration does not look good in the polls. Hopefully the few will not cause the many to suffer
It is such serious news Dima, but I can't help myself, the way you say reservoir drives me insane. Rez....ev....waar. Not reserver. Please Dima, it drives me mad.
Kursk incursion is classified as an antiterrorist operation by Russians which means the units which are involved are Special Forces and they have nothing to do with regular Russian Forces. That is why you can see many ambushes, lancets, Inskaders, and other precise guided missiles, but very few plane bombs. Also, Dima said there are special units of UAVs that are constantly looking to disrupt the movements of UAF. Russians are slow but very methodical in what they do they are cleaning their territory of terrorists, and no prisoners are taken unless they are willingly come forward and serrender.
In a game of chess, you may have to sacrifice powerful pieces in order to obtain strategic goals that ultimately allow your victory. That’s why no Russian will succumb to propaganda noise regarding Kursk incursion.
These soldiers blow my mind how they walk down middle of street bunched together after this long in combat, with the knowledge of drones that carry 4 to 6 grenades, and not run from tree to tree or cover to cover.
So the Ukrainians are presumably putting up some type of defence near Pokrovsk (albeit unsuccessful), holding on in Kharkov area (mostly), using presumably some of their best units in the mostly successful (but ultimately futile) Kursk offensive, have 120,000 troops near Belarus according to Lukashenko (although even if only half this number is still quite extraordinary) and now are also launching a Zaporizhia counteroffensive. What are they putting actual children and old ladies into the Army now? This later counteroffensive is near the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant, what's the bet the UN will suddenly be silent now because its the Ukrainians doing military action near the plant this time?
The Germans did the same thing in late 1944 and 1945. They Adolf sent he’s best troops on some futile counter offensive that depleted he’s crack divisions and armour
The Ukrainians are as obsessed with taking the Zhapo power plant as NATO was with taking Crimea (and its naval base) in the 2023 summer offensive. When they SHOULD have focused on was defense and taking back Bakhmut, crucial for their defense in northern Donbass.

The problem with that lasting incursion into russian territory is that Ukrainians show that slav orthodox russians are not invicible to their southern and eastern provinces where slav orthodox are a minority. This could reinitiate independence claims like after the Afghan war humiliation.
Crossing the drained reservoir after destroying the dam was an old plan I suspect, but they had no idea how formidably muddy the riverbed would be. It's still a wide crossing, being the lower Dnieper after all. And unlike the Ukrainian shore opposite Krynky there's nowhere close to hide and launch boats, and then they'd be forced to disembark on the open mud flats far from the NPP. I'd love to see them try.
Russia is attacking fortified locations and Ukraine is attacking at weakest points. Time will tell but not looking good either for ukrainian or russian soldiers.
Ukros had their army decimated in Donbass. Next they withdrew some trooos for Kursk. Then Zaporizia NPP? Are these additional troops falling out of trees? If not, why can't Russian AF disrupt them on their way into Ukraine?
In Donbas barely any Ukrainian soldiers died compared to insane loses for Russians, it’s all because Ukrainians fell back to more safe and fortified places while Russia with its blitz crieg lost too many soldiers one of the reasons they don’t go further
@@senioralexander0If you truly believe that visit your nearest insane asylum. The Ukrainians suffered enormous losses in Bakhmut and even pro Ukrainians confirm that. Russians did as well but it was mostly the Prisoners that Wagner recruited which lets be honest those guys really don’t matter to the Russian Forces.
Belarus is not active in this war. They show the ukrains that they are back at the border and the ukrains needs to react to this. Lets hope the ukraines arent such stupid to attack Belarus first.
how the hell can the ukrainians have so many troops to start two offensives at the same time and also fight and hold the entire east and control the incursions at kharkov? i dont get it. i thought that russians had numerical superiority?
Because Ukrainians have indeed more troops than Russia. Russia is using less troops than Ukraine. Russia uses fire power and the troops. They don't need as much troops as the Ukrainians. Ukrainians brought 30k troops against the 14k troops in the Kharkiv front and they didn't managed to do anything, except technically stopping them for now. It didn't make Russia bring more troops to advance cause they were advancing elsewhere. Anyway, the fact is, Ukraine has way more troops on active duty than Russia and they're still struggling
@@Densiozowe don’t know numbers but we know the quality of these troops and the equipment they have is heavily deteriorating. And the quantity is less than the Russians already have but Russia is holding most of them in reserve (perhaps if nato gets involved directly?)
Artillery shells will always fly cheaper. And recon drones hugely help artillery crews find good targets - partially why forces are so defensive and spread out, conducting furtive attrition for the most part. Similar thing happened in WW1 due to aerial surveillance of biplanes and balloons, until advances in AA by WW2 cleared the skies again from casual reconnaissance.

I mean, despite being sarcastic, you’re not wrong. The little green men was mostly Wagner troops and NATO is barely involved here, drip feeding money and decades old equipment is bare minimum compared to actually having US aircraft carriers dominating the region with NATO army groups steam rolling Russian tanks like in Iraq.
