Not to trash on CLC but fromis actually has sold 800k albums in their career so they are profitable. And a very solid fandom that has survived throughout all the hiatuses. Just not to the level of new jeans and lsrfm.
Well the company could just disband and tell it like it is. Release them so they are free to pursue other work. A lot of artists like black pink are trying to break free from their contracts. Nowadays you don't need a management company.
The thing that bothers me most about these types of situations, is these companies just waste years of these young people's lives. They lock them up in contracts for years and then don't do anything with them. They shouldn't be considered Music companies, they are just companies. They don't care about music, they care about profit. If they could make more money selling Vitamins then music, they would switch in a heartbeat.
Nothing is more cruel than wasting/holding back somebody's potential and time, it's a modern-day torture method, sad to see a problem like this still exists in the Kpop industry...
Fromis_9 is by far the most well built group I’ve seen all the members have charisma, visuals, and their vocals are insane. I really wished that they were bigger.

The fact they have been active since basically late 2016 and only have ONE full album makes me upset. Literally one album in like 6-7 years of work? Comparing their catalog to twice who started in 2015 and Fromis_9 who started in 2017, the amount in difference of song amount is drastic.
Well the same goes for BP and Aespa. Both groups had their first full albums four years after debuting (2020 and 2024). The thing is that companies care less for their ggs which is awful. Twice is JYP's main money maker so they release music 2-3 times a year

That's why they have trained for so long, to do the thing they like. I would say that as a blink and a mys, their success is a phenomenon - having few songs but being this popular. AESPA might not have a large catalog but everything they have released is triple A work and are promoted heavily. Fromis_9 lacked the company privilege. It’s more vital for a group like Fromis_9 to have frequent comebacks to keep up than it is for a group like BP or AESPA who are in the top 5% of all kpop groups. Idk I guess I just don’t feel bad for a Black Pink or a AESPA because they will always be relevant and in the spotlight. Fromis_9 however won’t be.
It seems to me that saving Fromis_9 was just a public relation front for HYBE to save face from losing GFRIEND. If you really think about it, absorbing PLEDIS (a smaller company) is pretty much the same story as Source Music. However, Seventeen makes the most revenue. Meaning, more attention went to the fellas than the ladies.
@@snusun I was an ardent fan of Pristin V their sub division (not much the main group) Kyulkyong, Nayoung, Eunwoo, Rena and Roa are all my biases as I loved them all maybe slightly more the first two but the tragedy they received is so undeserved. I believe if those 5 girls debuted for SM or JYP they would be as big as Aespa and Itzy sadly that's not what happened. I am afraid fromis_9 will follow the same path.

there are so many unknown girl groups that are getting pretty much no sales/views. Fromis_9 has so many fans and honestly possibly used to be the top 3 4th gen GG back when it's top 1 iz*one, top 2 itzy. days and pledis is just ignoring this group. fckng unbelievable
They have some really great songs - DM, We Go, Stay This Way - and are very talented. They are being wasted. Gyuri leaving hurts (she was my bias), but they deserve better.
fromis_9 is one group that kept improving with each comeback. Their songs got better, their choreo, in sync dancing, style, and beauty just grew. It was amazing to watch. It is so tragic to watch these corporate idiots blow it time, and time a gain When you have a gold mine, you need to work it, not abandon it.

One of my favorite groups. I don't care about any scandals, dating, rigging, or any other crap. They are good. Very good! I enjoy watching and listening to them, and do so pretty much every day. It's pretty obvious their management views them as a black eye, and hopes they just quietly fade away. Yet it is their management, little sh!t stains punishing others to hide their own incompetence, that caused all of the problems.
First GFRIEND disbanded for God knows why. Then we had the whole controversy with Garam. Lesserafim had the whole Coachella issue, then New Jeans and their “hiatus” along with ILLIT being a weapon used against them, and now Fromis_9 is being mistreated continuously. Wow HYBE really needs to get a handle with their girl groups cause oh my gosh…the way they treat them is unbelievable

They're pretty & gorgeous. All their songs are absolute bop and no skip, better than other popular groups songs. They have powerful vocal, especially the two main vocalist. They have charming personality. They work hard doing their own show. I just don't get it..

For example, if Pledis doesn't want to protect fromis_9 from death threats, HYBE can step in with their tons of money and take legal action against the perpetrators. But they don't care about any of their idols as people, so they won't. That's why the girls call Bang their president and HYBE their company. They ultimately control everything. Anybody who understands what one company buying another company does knows that, but most K-fans are ignorant about business (kind of understandable since a lot are kids, but then they confidently mouth off with wrong info). So they kind of plainly revealed it to those ignorant masses.

3 freaking times with a year-long hiatus... that's really crazy and i am experiencing 2 of those times. i am a huge flover and it's really hard. why is everything not going well for them, like ever since debut. crazy haters, crazy treatment, crazy management. 7 mini albums and 1 full album from a 6 year old girl group, 4 different years(19,20,21,23) with only 1 comeback. they already faced a lot and it's never stopping. i'm just glad that flovers are really strong and have been fighting for them. i just want them to have a better career.

Been into Flover (fromis_9 fandom) since Unlock My World. Their songs helped me through college and by far, the most girl group I can made connection with especially from the song. I know I'm still newbie but I'm gonna share my thoughts. The fact that not many people didn't know about fromis_9 is actually saddening. What's not to like about them? They have everything from vocals, choreography, personality, talent and most importantly, visual. If you want someone to blame, blame the one who rigged the show, not them because they don't deserve it (just like 르세라핌). Just imagine if PLEDIS treat them right, it would be night and day difference. Just to name one, if "Love Me Back" being promoted properly, it would be as famous as "Cupid" but they didn't. When fromis_9 is under PLEDIS, it's not the same anymore like we lost entirely everything (CHANNEL_9, Jisun ASMR). I really don't know why PLEDIS mistreat them unfortunately. They have so much potential, yet they just need a PROPER promotion from PLEDIS. I don't know what kind of curse PLEDIS have with their former girlgroup. Last but not least, I hope that we can saw a change in management which can led to fromis_9 to its glory days back then. Idk what kind of way, maybe PLEDIS get a prophecy or something but yeah let's just hope fromis_9 can be known internationally not just Korea.
