Ok... so here are some interesting facts.... In 1985, Dodi’s father, Mohammed Al Fayed bought the queen’s favourite Harrod’s department store. Soon after, the store lost it’s Royal Warrant Seal of Approval (the Duke of Edinburgh’s doing apparently) and Mohammed angrily burnt them publicly. He removed all sight of the Royal Seals from all products and Harrod’s vehicles etc. This was the start Mohammed‘S hatred of the Royal Family. From 1995, Mohammed Al Fayed tried, numerous times, to apply for a British Passport/citizenship, each time he was denied. 1996, Diana was a free woman, having just divorced her unfaithful husband. This is when strange things started happening. Her ex bodyguard “love of her life” Barry Mannakee died in a mysterious motorcycle accident in South Woodford, E18 in May 1987. One of the cars involved, was never found. The mysterious “flashes” that were seen by witnesses at the cycle accident could never be explained. Uncanny eh? Ring any bells? At the time, Diana had been dating Muslim Heart Surgeon Hasnat Khan. He ended the relationship almost immediately after learning of Manakee’s death. He claimed it was because he didn’t want the media attention that having a relationship with Diana would afford him. Question though, was he spooked? Sad, sad to ruin such a beautiful young ladies life. Diana was not just a Lady, she was a Princess, adored by millions across the globe. Her way of doing all things pleased all who adored her, except those who will never be able to match her in any sphere.
In hindsight, she was a teenager who really didn't know what she was walking in to and she certainly had no advice from her mother, sister or even stepmom. It's understandable to see why she ended up being so unhappy. They did "use" her terribly and as a teenager, I really don't think she understood the "power" she was up against.
