I have followed Tom Selleck’s career from day one!!! Me bring from Michigan have a great fondness for Mr Selleck. When he married Jellie Mack I was crushed. I would have married this man in a heart beat. I just love love Tom Selleck!!! Sure would love to visit with him and see his ranch. It would be such a pleasure for me…. He is one of the great stars in Hollywood. To me actually the greatest of all time. I love Tom Selleck and watch all the programs he stars in. Thank you for being you Tom and having such a great career in Hollywood.

He is and was a favorite of many !! A true blue no frills ‘this is me’ actor an boy Magnum PI was so great never missed this tall good looking drink of water !! I was lucky had a warehouse man about his age and we call called him magnum he was an identical right with us gitrls back then sn we all worshipped him too but he too was a devoted married man an was respected greatly by us cause most of ours were white hounds never home out they were in the honky Toni’s being unfaithful😅 we all drooled as he walked in an we all if he had been a run around honey took man would have went out with him if asked but he was a true blue great family man young as magnum an looked identical ❤❤❤ we called him Magnim he always. Blushed But no one can duplicate the original that being the great Handsome and great actor : Tom Selleck no one else can duplicate this masterpiece of a man a great actor and great person We love him always will and wish him well ❤❤❤❤❤❤ and all our love😂. Loved Tom Selleck throughout his career, loved him in everything he has played in. I’m wondering why two of my favorite movies Three Men And A Baby & Three Men And A Little Lady, so funny & such sweet movies, that is when I truly fell in love with this Man, showing his softer side. Also loved him on Friends, one of my favorite shows, no matter what he is on this sophisticated calm intelligence shines thru & he always just oozes masculinity, all of which are just part of his persona. He is the reason I started watching Blue Bloods & discovered a very good show & if he leaves he will be so very missed but I don’t blame him for wanting to retire & spend more time with his family. Hope whatever he does he is happy & loves whatever he is doing, I wish him well. I would like to Thank Him for All his years of entertaining Us & for being the good man that he has always been. 👏👏❤️😊👍🏼

I'm 83 and i have loved this cool dude actor my whole adult life. Blue Bloods has fans like me grow with that beautiful family the producers have put together..Please keep them all together as long as possible and age will allow the Selleck crew to carry on, even if Tom retires from being the police chief. He's welcome in our living room as a wise retired senior citizen and police officer (Chief).. love the show and keep the family together and let us see how each one evolves over the years.. I don't think I knew of Blue Bloods nearly as soon as it started on TV but I was SO blessed to happen to see the first initial Blue Bloods as my very first Blue Bloods. I am a native New Yorker & I thought the beginning of that very first Blue Bloods was such an incredible tribute to NY. It just so captured the old classic excitement & magic of NY much as a feature film would have. Very inspired introduction to the show. I was spellbound instantly & have remained a Blue Bloods loyalist. My husband & I prioritize watching the series on both Wednesdays & Fridays. We are grateful that it & the values it projects have continued.

He means goodbye to me I think. I've always been overwhelmed by what's been happening in my life. Never able to focus on any one person who showed up. If he was trying to be a knight in shining armor, I wasn't able to differentiate between everyone coming to this tourist town. Plus I had little resources which made my life hard like having to take buses. I don't have TV going. Never watched Blue Bloods. My life has been a horror story. Totally controlled by several people.

I met Tom 16:04 Selleck back in the 90s in Las Vegas....was so polite... kind. The trip home was all about Tom. I had no idea who he was till the girls at the counter told me. Will never forget that..

I love Blue Bloods & hope Tom never retires, but if he does, he is deserving to retire. He is a great actor & I will miss him. I found out after all the years Elvis was in movies, that my dad was a cousin to him. His dad was a cousin to Elvis’s dad. After our mom & dad passed on, we were going through their stuff in the garage & found out my dad grew up in Mississippi on a farm. My Aunt Bonnie went back to a Roberts Reunion in Miss. She called & said The Roberts’s were related to the Presleys. The Presleys attended a baby shower for Nana’s first baby. There was a Family Tree at TheRoberts Reunion. a list of family member

Tom Selleck is one of a handful of actors that I respect. I found it sad that there was no mention of his TV movie series (9 movies spanning over a decade and a half), "Jessie Stone". I thought the portrayal of a very good, but washed up alcoholic cop that was fired, then hired for nefarious reason on the East Coast in a small coastal town was an amazing character study, and some of his best work. In any case, I wish Mr. Selleck an even longer life and continued happiness.

Love everything about Tom Sellick. I'd like him to continue as long as he (himself) decides he wishes to do. I've watched all Magnum PI, and I continue to watch all Blue Bloods episodes. I am 77yrs old, so I've followed him throughout his career. I applaud him for keeping a low profile for his personal life. It would be great if all other actors would do the same; as I don't want or need to hear all their personal problems, their personal life is not my business; I have my own life to live. I enjoy films & tv series as leisure time personal entertainment; and I appreciate Tom's lifestyle to keep his personal life personal. With deep respect, I will continue to watch & enjoy you as long as you wish to do so. Thank you for all the years of your film & tv series, it's been a pleasure to watch until either your end or my end. ❤

I watched Magnum P.I., followed his career, and have seen every episode of Blue Bloods, one of my favorite shows. Tom Selleck is a tall, good looking and handsome actor as well as being so talanted at whatever part he portrays. I love the family scenes of Bue Bloods. I can identify with them. I just love him in the roll he plays on Blue Bloods. Maybe because my brother was a police officer for 29 years, and I find his acting and the acting of everyone of the show to be real and excellent, displaying love, compassion and dedication in their jobs and caring about the family at those wonderful dinners. I wish Tom good health and hope that the show continues for many years to come. I am sure that many of the fans feel the same way. Thank you to Tom's family for allowing us to share him.

I grew up watching you in Westerns, Friends, Magnum PI & Blue Bloods. I think my mom knew I had a crush on you for many years growing up. You are the most talented, down to earth actor I have ever known. Kudos to you for following your dream in acting. I doubt very much that you ever regret the path you took in life. I give you a lot of credit for having your ethics & values that you live by which is hard to find in the acting profession. Sometimes we get to a point in our life & career that we set priorities in what matters the most. Tom Selleck's example of living a focused life is more important than ever today. This is a time when, to the sorrow and concern of many, issues of finding and living according to values that count, are ignored and snubbed at every social level. For myself, I see in his life a freedom which I enjoyed (to an extent) in my life on the edge of a small "city," in the Montana mountains where I used to explore at will. No longer. Now many of us wonder what, rather "who" we will meet at the next turn of the trail. Certainly not a Tom Selleck type. Perhaps someone more like "Jack the Ripper!" The title “The Sad Reason Tom Selleck Is Saying Goodbye” is misleading and just click bait. This talks about the 12 season looming. But it came out/posted up 1 day ago. It makes me think someone is asleep at the wheel. I’ve watched season 13 and CBS has been airing promos about this upcoming 14th season is the final season starting after the super bowl this month Listening to the repetitive lines as if they are watching a clock to fill out a time frame, the pronunciation of words leaves me to believe this is an AI voice and not a very good one. Might be someone typing on a keyboard that can’t speak English? Some of the pictures that flash up have nothing to do with Tom Selleck, don’t belong in this story, it’s called “B” roll or stock footage.

First of all, there is no “sad” reason Tom Selleck is saying goodbye. Second, he just turned 79 and Blue Bloods Season 14 premieres this month, February 16th. He’s a stand up guy and a great actor. Love all of his shows and movies.

I Love Tom Selleck in everything he does. There wasn't mention of a few shows he did. He did 1 season of Las Vegas when James Caan decided to leave TV and go back to movies. I loved that show and didn't think it could survive a replacement. But Tom Selleck was the best replacement and made it his own. Sadly, it only lasted the one more season. What a shame. Loved James Caan and Tom Selleck both. It's hard to find the reruns, but occasionally they run a marathon with the entire series. If he does leave Blue Bloods and retire, he will sadly be missed. Although retirement is well deserved. What an amazing man and an amazing career. I've got nothing but love and respect for this man.

Tom Selleck stands heads and shoulders above many of his peers in Hollywood and the world at large. I adore him as a man and in his role as Frank Reagan in "Blue Bloods", my absolute favorite program on TV, along with "All Things Great and Small" on PBS. The ensemble of actors and the characters they brilliantly portray are second-to-none. I am deeply saddened that this is the last season for this series. I only wish it could continue as "Blue Bloods" with the remaining cast; but they, too, have lives and other parts to play on different stages. This show is ending on a high note, clearly one of the best series ever to be, along side of "All in the Family" and "The Waltons." God bless and keep them all as they continue on their journeys on this side of the firmament. Bravo👏💫

i love Tom. I met him when he was in Australia making Quigley Down Under and he sent me an autographed photo when he returned home. I first saw him as Thomas Magnum and loved his comedic persona so I continued watching his career from then on. I am still going through his Westerns, especially those with another favourite actor, Sam Elliot. I truly hope he works his magic on the screen until he just can't do it anymore. He lives in my heart always.

Tom Selleck's life has been an influence on my children for what manhood is and being your own individual and not following the crowd. The Blue Blood series has been a good forum of dealing with the issues of the day in dealing with law and order and the confusion of what is right and wrong. Helps in how to deal with the opposing side in how to treat others in a firm non-compromising way. JH

I have LOVED Tom Selleck in EVERYTHING he has played !!! We are the same age. I once told my beloved husband as we were watching Magnum PI that "he could put his shoes under my bet any time". That was the one tine he ever expressed any form of jealosy in our 34 yrs of marriage !! He was a very handsome Green Beret Col. who was fanned over by women until his death at age 84 ! Mr. Selleck, please keep up your great acting skills as long as physically possible. God bless you.

He has rhuemetoid arthritis and it is very painful for him to walk. Watch him real quick in the beginning of his commercials. He takes two steps painfully and then he stops and goes on with the commercial. Love him. Diane

Tom Selleck has always been one of my all time favorites. His westerns as well as a few of his 1980s movies are part of my Selleck movie library. Not a real big fan of "Blue Bloods". Mainly because it has gone on way to long. I think 5-6 seasons for a series is long enough. I would have liked to have seen him do other things. I would like to him finish out the "Jesse Stone" series he started. Quite a different take on law enforcement without all of heavy drama. But at 78, it may be time to retire and enjoy the years he has left on his ranch. Too many times great actors keep making entertainment, without looking for way to leave it all behind, i.e. Gene Hackman.

My mother passed away back in 2017 but she loved to watch Magnum PI and the drama between Magnum and Higgens, she also loved to watch Jack Lord in Hawaii 5 0. I think Tom Selleck is a good moral man who didn't let Hollywood go to his head.

My wife and family has watched Blue Bloods since it started. We continue to look forward every Friday night to watch Blue Bloods. I’m retired and 84 yrs. old and my wife is 81. We still love to watch Blue Bloods and hate to think of it ending. Jim and Jo Snyder We have 4 grown children that feel the same. Altoona, Pa. Children are all over the eastern United States.

I remember when Tom Selleck was the poster face for Marlboro cigarettes in the 70's and then suddenly was noticed because all of us girls went gaga over him and then he got the role in Magnum PI. He has been one of my heart throbs from that day forward. He has even aged well.
