The a.i. is actually inferior to standard enemies. The NPCs usually can't aim for shit outside scripted encounters. It's designed that way so the player does the work.

@@coohan_gg and they all deserve better because you do not want to emotionally invest a character who is gonna die either way in the same title especially those who were just introduced because it’s feels like you are talking to a wall a celling and a basement at the same time

@@wordherb1128 I really hate the ranger missions in the first mw2 because of the characters it’s just when you play veteran difficulty you rage quit and not only that teammates do nothing to help you especially in areas you must defend and it’s one of the reasons why this franchise sucked nowadays

@@MajorAlex yeah it’s like what was the point of us emotionally invested in them and what was the point of them then this is not the call of duty I once knew since 2003 I do not want to bond a character who is about to die early or late in each title especially a character WHO WAS JUST INTRODUCED IN THE SAME TITLE THEY JUST CAME IN ICONIC RECURRING OR NOT I am sorry I shouted but the sickening fact that characters are being treated like dirt forgotten and all of that was given to a character was for nothing such as being in box art promos marketing trailers magazines etc and for what shock value most of those deaths are cheap and pointless and they make cheapest and hilarious deaths in other games and movies look good and they lead to some hilarious internet memes by people who played those titles as they tried their best to make them bearable enjoyable and cooler

@@MajorAlex and yes not just Activision but other call of duty developers and publishers as well and they kept getting away and breaking the law scot free with false advertising misleading broken promises lawsuits from historians and historical figures shoving down subverting expectations down their own audiences fanbases and communities and the list goes on

That’s why I’m happy and glad that Gaz and Ghost are getting a second chance ☺️ They never made it past their first titles, but now Gaz got through 3 and so far Ghost has got through 2. Its really nice

@@usadroopymeat1099 I suspect that each mission was supposed to be a suicide mission for the entire task force. If you read into it, it feels like Shepard was trying to get TF141 killed really early on. Think about it, after they capture Rojas they try to call in for extract that is conveniently unavailable, they have to ask Nikolai for help. Then in the gulag, the bombardment starts early and almost traps Soap, Roach and Price inside. Every mission they're sent on goes wrong in a major way and only by a combination of luck and skill do they keep surviving. Shepard was trying to kill them off from the start.

@@SpencerBurkett either way and the second era of cod titles 2007 to 2012 it’s like why bother with those characters if they just dead weight and why emotionally invested on them and to add salt on the wound used them like disposable tools because cod developers and publishers kept introducing characters put them in marketing promos box art trailers etc just to sell their titles and kept getting away scot free false advertising character assassination 101 and lazy writing to spice things up
