You will not find a good woman in Colombia, I am referring to you personally. Why? Because you put money first and you obviously know nothing about living outside the US. Perhaps you are unaware of what "working" in Colombia means to the average Colombian, 6 days a week for a meager wage meaning you won't really have a girlfriend except on Sunday. A woman with a good job will have zero interest in a man like you, she will be seeking an upper class Colombian. The women that date foreigners are looking for a man to elevate their lives meaning you pay pay pay and they will be testing you from day 1 also. Tacano ends with NO for that reason..

I am from Ecuador and I agree. South America is mostly Catholic and society doesn't approve of a hookup culture like in the United States. I have not been in Ecuador for over 20 years, and it is still somewhat taboo to go around with a guy without some commitment on the horizon. I read comments from Ecuadorians about progressive polices and they are not inclined to embrace it. We are very much alike in Ecuador, Colombia, Peru, etc. Maybe Argentina is an exception.
