Roman here from Saddle Goat here. Because of the interest we have seen in the Snake Ascender. From now until the end of September it will be on sale for $29.99
Nice review... good looking product as well... in all honesty I'd be buying one now if it wasn't $39. My 4 dollar accessory biner and 550 cord attachment isn't as slick as that... but yeah probably not considering it at $39... also... that might be a little too long as in it may swing a lot while climbing..
@@cozy_bear7592 .... I'm sure that the price for that quick release is the bulk of the cost...considering he said it's titanium... but that's the rub... you can't outprice the items worth... especially since you can build something slightly less convenient for like 5 bucks.
Hey thanks for committing on the review of my Platform Snake Ascender. Firstly, my 12 year could daughter is awesome. She is the one who committed. Lol…… The Snake Ascender is priced based on the products used, my time to make this custom product, the quality of the products used, and the originality of it. The Snake Ascender was a product that took time to develop and is something I am very proud of. If you have any questions about it please shot me a message and ask. I look forward to chatting. Thanks again for your comment.
Well, I understand that it's an accessory and not a necessary component. Believe that quality of it is good and it looks cute, however... your platform and sticks should be restricted from free hanging as much as possible, should be eazy available in one-handed mode and preferably have no metal connectors exposed. It is not as functional/multi-functional as simple bendable gear tie...
You know. Everyone has a way… I’m just not sure where you came up with these “rules” or ideas? For example, should be easy available with one hand mode and no metal connectors. I don’t think it really matters if you use one hand or two when your anchored into your lineman’s belt. And this little titanium connector offers zero harm to the system. Maybe you could shed some more light on what you’re talking about?
