The Safety Razor - Van Der Hagen University 

I'm a girl and I love my Van Der Hagen safety razor! Perfectly close shave anywhere I decide to use it. I don't even cut myself like I used to with disposable razors. Safety razors rule!

I have been shaving with a safety razor since I was about 25 so more than half my life, I get a smoother shave, and the cost compared to the multi blades is bunches. SO as he states in the video go slow at first you will learn to love this shave and feel.

I’ve been shaving with a double edge razor for over two years now. There was quite a learning curve in the beginning for about the first two months. There was a time where I switched back to cartridge razors because I kept cutting myself but when I switched to cartridge razors I was not getting a baby smooth shave. With cartridge razors, I was still having a shadow after shaving. So eventually I switched back to a double edge safety razor and I stuck with it. Honestly, it’s all in the hand. If you want a baby smooth face it all comes down to your technique. I now get a baby smooth shave with a safety razor with two passes. When I have a 10 day beard growth, I do a first pass with the grain and then the second pass is against the grain. Lastly, I Buff my chin area using small little strokes against the grain. Now, I don’t even have a shadow after shaving. Trust me, stick with it, learn the technique, use some shaving cream and also (very important) use a styptic pencil and put some Argan oil on your facial hair pre-shaving cream. I still cut myself till this day. I just tap the styptic pencil with water all across my face and it’s better than any aftershave cream. And then I hop in the shower, wash the styptic pencil stuff off and I’m good to go. No sticky aftershave residue and a clean shave!

On New Years Day, I went to Fred Meyer and I ran into Van Der Hagen safety Razor a Friend of mine told me to try it and to this day I enjoy it!!

We need footage of shaving the neck and under the beard. It’s by far the hardest part a child can shave their cheeks. 😂

Why cant i buy youre shave bars at walmart anymore i used to use it as body wash and i LOVEEEED IT

I Tried The Van Der Hagen Double Edge This Past Weekend And Was Severely Disappointed. In Spite Of All The Oils And Creams I Use In My Shaving Ritual My Face Still Feels Like It Was Rubbed With 80 Grit Sandpaper. This Was The Worst Shave I Have Ever Had And A Waste Of 20 Bucks For The Razor. I Started Shaving In The Mid 70s And Started With A Gillette Trac 2 Razor . Throughout The Years I Have Always Used The Gillette Family Of Multi Blade Razors From The Trac 2 To Now The Proglide. I Have Tried Other Razors And Blade Types But I Keeping Coming Home To Gillette

Made in China razor. The Dutch name and logo. A Chinese name and a picture of the great wall would suit it better.

Don't know what you['re talking about. I tried it and it cut the crap out of my face. And, never had such irritationj. Won't do it again.
