I agree independent thought humility and honesty are traits that we possess and try to reinforce in teaching our children and friends. And also as crazy as things seem, it is not as bad it appears, the young people will figure it out we don't need any red hats things haven't even got close to great yet. Hey Carpo, just discovered you this evening. This phrase, Salt of the Earth, is one that here in the U.K used to be commonly understood, and also if you were alluded to in that way you would feel a certain pleasure, because that's the kind of person you wanted to be. Now it seems to have shifted quite a bit to ''successful'' or Alpha male, or some shit like that. So it's really nice to find it is still valued by wonderful selfless people like you out there. In fact, I feel like maybe people are generally starting to reawaken to what true value is, as I seem to be coming across more content that has genuine intention behind it lately; like there's only so much madness people can take, and it's swinging back to sanity. No ads. No sponsorships. And no jump editing that drives me nuts. I figured if I stick to just talking about life, people will come back around eventually everything is a cycle

Ha ha. I just sprinkled some on their plot. Last year I started them in cups in a nursery and then broke em up and planted individually. Took a while for them to get going in the cups. This year had a ton of seeds so just experimenting with putting them directly on the soil. Happy growing.

I have been studying the Bible and literature. An often misunderstood part, beyond the salt of the earth, is Matthew 14 - the walking on water - if you read the chapter as allegory - and not as an 'atheist philosopher' read as physics suspended... But if you actually read the chapter - Jesus sends his disciples out to handle themselves in the world(a boat in a sea) yet they lose faith in their ability to fend for themselves -and need to be rescued - but Jesus was not the only one to walk on water in the story - can we walk above the strife and still walk the path of good? * Hebrew is great but most of the Bible was preserved in Greek -I agree that learning the language is important - but learning how to interpret is more so - Half of evangelicals do not believe Jesus was God - maybe because he does not directly say so?
