When James Earl Jones' character says to them about his baseball, "This one is signed too, along with the rest of the 1927 Yankees," that's a big deal. The '27 Yankees had a famous lineup, known as Murderer's Row. It consisted of Earle Combs, Mark Koenig, Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Bob Meusel and Tony Lazzeri. It was called Murderer's Row, because those were first six hitters on the roster, and the lineup was so deadly that by the time those six were up and done at bat, the Yankees were up by 4-6 runs. They're widely considered one of the best lineups in baseball history. They were almost unstoppable.

Absolute childhood classic right here, that Beast puppet scared the hell out of me as a kid. That's what makes The Sandlot great, it doesn't follow the typical sports movie tropes and storylines that Tom pointed out right before they watched it. Guys, if the you only recognize Dennis Leary from The Amazing Spiderman then you need to check out some more of his work. My favorite is "The Ref". Check out the IMDB rating to verify it is worth watching and it's also a fantastic change of pace Christmas movie! Which is perfect timing for right now! You guys laughing at the kid that don't know how to throw is America laughing at the rest of the world for not knowing how to throw. The introduction-spitting scene is them showing respect to Small by giving him the gift of their bodies' moisture hahaha(Dune) "I've never had a s'more"..."Are you mad?"..... "I don't think they sell them here in the UK." hahahaha classic. You're officially the Smalls of the UK! I love that you guys had the same reaction as Timmy to Squints kissing Wendy! I always liked this movie because it was basically what my neighborhood was like from the mid 60's to the early 70's. We played baseball every day.

Every time I watched The Sandlot as a kid in the 90s, be it spring, summer, fall, or winter, I'd pause at the treehouse campout scene and make myself some s'mores. Then resume the movie as I nosh down on deliciousness. Every. Damn. Time.

I grew up with this film.. I absolutely love it and it never gets old.. I give it a 10/10 and I don’t care if it’s not really a 10/10 movie.

So many kids movies try to show magic through fantastical elements. But this is one of the best movies to show the magic of everyday childhood life. Just growing up in the suburbs, fucking around with your friends.
