just seen this review and very impressed and Tony has taken a sows ear and made a silk purse the rifle is very good and very different , love it hate it ,But now like the look of it and not costing a arm and a leg like how you talked about the rifle, and explained how its doing and the way its so right every shot very close and it looks like a late bsa rifle and the target shooting spot on a rifle for every one not just them that have lots of money , and at £299 , a snip at that price I could say I might be buying one soon , thanks for the time you lads put into the hobby and in these strange times, I might not be shooting this year but a great video and hope there is more on this rifle .Cheers take care

Been playing around with PCP:s for a couple of years now and they are amazing but after watching your videos of the Snipe, Imp and tuned 98 my next gun will be a HW98 that I will tune myself since I can't buy a SFS tuned gun and mostly because I like that part of airrifling just as much if not more than shoting and hunting. :-) Nice job by Sandwell and a nice review from you! Big thumbs up!

Lovely job Si! Again, Tony's skill and knowledge comes to the fore, to bring a custom tuned rifle to the 'masses'. I don't quite know how he does it for the price, as each gun is individual! Your Excel demo was really well worth doing, and I'm sure will be much appreciated. The 'Chairgun' update was good too! (I didn't know it had been replaced.) I used 'Chairgun' initially, but I now find 'Strelok Pro' the best for me. (There is a free download version available which is not Hawke biased. Well worth having a trial run to see which you prefer.) Keep the great videos coming matey.

U guys are the best on u tube. On air guns especially spring guns they are my favorite I am from New Jersey here in America we don’t have shops like u guys have on tunning air guns I wish we did keep bring more videos love them

Good vid 👍 nice scope alignment I find a good scope that holds target after recoil shock is a keeper I've had expensive scopes that had a good view but couldn't keep the line and cheaper ones that were very good and consistent after every recoil nice vid have a great day

I'm very impressed with Tony's skills. In fact I called him today. I like the way you said about 50 yards being about maximum range for hunting. Your right you know. I hunt with a 10/22 and rarely take a shot further than 50m. Great vids Si

A SFS tuned rifle for less than £300? That's great value. The shot to shot consistency was impressive. Surprising that the AA pellets were so varied in weight (aren't they made by JSB?). I agree completely that the mid to upper 10ft lb power range is best for accuracy and is much nicer to shoot, especially for .177, which feels too snappy when you get up into the high 11 ft lb range. Thanks for the Excel formula. Excellent demo.

Not my type of gun as I am a HW man, but awesome review, AEAC is in my opinion the best reviewer on Utube but you hit it out of the park with this one with the hints and tips thrown in. It was like AEAC and the best of an old Matt Dubber vid rolled into one, editing must have taking ages. Spot on Si, top class.👍

Hello do you still use Bisley Magnums in the HW100 I find them 1st Class but they all have a small spike on the Domes I guess from the Moulds.

Yet again a good upload not often enough. I'm going to buy myself an air arms tdx200hc in 177 if this was yours how would you tune it to get the best out of the gun I've seen after market tuneing kits but do's swoping out metal parts of plastic sound like a good idea not to me please let me know what exactly what you would do and why to this gun yours sincerely Justin

Please kind sir,Weihrauch HW 98 or Weihrauch HW 97, which one is better for general use? Is the 98 because of the break barrel, going to start losing accuracy with years of use? I would really appriciate any opinion. Thanks in advance

Great review. May I suggest that next time you take a long shot at a target, have the vertical drop on the target marked in Inches or centimeters so people could calculate the BC for themselves from the drop. The muzzle velocity can be copied from your average 10 shot chronoscope testing. Many Thanks.

I agree, Gammo triggers are appalling, I don't understand why Gammo don't improve on this themselves.

One more thing my rifle does not have sights. You have to use it with a scope.
