The Santa Ana Fire Department has answered the call of its residents for 128 years. After a historic ceremony on Friday, the Department is no more. The O.C Fire Authority has taken over its responsibilities. As Arti Nehru reports, there are mixed emotions about this switchover.

This is an example of how Fire Department merger should work: Everyone is kept, the stations and apparatuses are renumbered, and there won't be any changes in service.
