About Patagonia:
At Patagonia, we appreciate that all life on earth is under threat of extinction. We’re using the resources we have-our business, our investments, our voice and our imaginations-to do something about it.

Thanks so much, Molly! I'm neurodiverse as well! On the autism spectrum specifically and an aspiring alpinist as well. In my opinion, reshaping and reframing public education and conversation about the state of climate and climate action is all about relationships and relatable stories. I appreciate your continued efforts in both areas. This documentary being a great example of this. I don't know where my personal history, phycological differences, passions, obsessions, hobbies, relationships, and career path will lead me, but I do know it will involve experiencing the grand extremes of the great outdoors and being willing and open to navigating the depths of my mind as well as others. I don't know when or how, but I'll see you around. Take it easy, Josh

That’s so inspiring to see an amazing young woman flying weekly for her hobby to fight climate change. … so unbelievably shallow. That’s the essence of America. Shallowness.

What an inspiring and incredible woman, film and company. Breaking trail is hard, let's hope you have now done that for other companies to follow your example.

Patagonia is truly against climate change. I share the same values, Vancouver Island is getting devastated by clear-cut logging of old growth. I try to bring as much awareness as possible with my mountain films but I need support from a company like Patagonia.

Ive always felt so conflicted about climate neutrality and how could my efforts in reducing my own carbon footprint make any real difference. This filmed help me realize that big oil companies would love for me to focus on myself rather than large systemic changes

Holy shit Molly. Let’s just say I watched a piece of this history unfold, knowing how much you had already done as a teenager but not realizing how much more you would do. I know you are safe, but during this movie I had to shut my eyes at times. Thank you for what you do. Please be careful.❤❤

No doubt there are systemic problems, big ones. But, dismissing individuals ability to make better decisions is a long time issue with “progressives”. For example, the decision to jet across the continent for recreation, emits a lot of CO2 that could be avoided. As does buying a large house, large car, or taking on a long commute. This problem is so big it will take BOTH top down and bottom up solutions to solve. Everyone needs to be doing everything they can.

The terrible truth is that we, who have the strong affinity to go to wild, rugged, seemingly unspoiled places, and choose to wear the miracle synthetic textiles, and use the gear that Patagonia, and others, market to us, are in strong conflict with any thoughts of conservation and ecological preservation.

When that alarm sound goes off in my world is a signal for me to turn off the water well from going dry. Which goes to the plants in the garden. I don't travel, I stopped doing those climbing trips years ago because change comes from home, building the soil, doing everything manual, become responsible. Come on... politicians and their interests will be the last to change. And who and how will enforce the laws they create? Too little too late. Time to focus less on the mountain "adventure" and start building the village.

I disagree that alpinism is about overcoming being deprived of x ie food the aim is not to experience discomfort; that just comes with territory of the nature of sport activity vs lying on a beach ...to me this kind of experience is about exploring of our planet.
