Being lost in the jungle is a true definition of adventure. Maybe later when you look back, you can really say that you are glad you have tried that once. Your experience makes your video different from the others. Cebu has a lot to offer from north to south. Enjoy your stay here.
I'm Filipino and this has happened to me many times in different places. Comfort yourself in the thought that settlemets are everywhere and if you keep going you will eventually reach civilization. Every jungle, mountain, field is bounded on all sides by towns (unlike other huge countries where deserts, forests can take days to cross). My worst was getting lost in a forest and ended up on top of a cliff - the local townsfolk at the bottom of the cliff helped us get down the cliff.

Well entertained in a very natural way but in here your refreshing glomming looks maybe your nice nap of relaxation after exploring in sardines, but don't worry the content was nice and real experiences. Well, Applause!
The two Filipino’s were probably thinking these two foreigners must be adrenaline junkies because no one in their right mind would go off roading on a scooter😂😂😂 Glad you’re here to tell the tale🙏🏼
Not me. Or not to locals who regularly see foreign or even local tourists traversing the mountain roads which are popular routes to get to Badian highlands or mountains. The route they took, though, was the newly built that starts from Badian. The older and the most frequently used routes to Badian mountains are the two routes from Alegria towns. These Alegria routes have been there for decades and they're also very scenic routes crisscrossing jungles, mountain ridges, razorbacks, villages, farms and rolling hills.
The guide is always recommended for first-time visitors. Because these guides will tell you about the do's and don'ts in hiking to the peak, which vantage points to take photos and so and so forth. More importantly, they're there for you to get to the peak much easier and faster. They can become your instant source of information and an excellent photographer/videographer as well.
Oh my, I just stumbled upon one of your videos 3 hours ago and now I can't stop binge watching. I even bought myself 2 beers as I'm enjoying myself so much -- and i don't even watch travel videos! No cringe moments, you guys are very very real! Haha, Now I know 4 things about you that really captured my heart: 1. CHARM 2. HUMILITY 3. AUTHENTICITY 4. VULNERABILITY Rock on, guys! New Pinoy fan here. 😍
WHAT!! No way, you just made our day.. 😭😂❤️ we are so glad you enjoy our videos! We throughly just enjoy having a good time and going with the flow. Real is the best compliment we can get 🙏🏼 So happy you found us friend, again a big thank you and much love! 🥰
Just listening to your story, man, that was pretty intense and I was even scared for both of you. Just glad to see that you made it back safe and sound. Take care always!
Very good decision to share your experience. It's definitely a lesson everybody has to take esp. if you are in a remote unfamiliar place. Hope you enjoy Cebu, nevertheless. Take care you both!!!
@@ChaseandShelbs NO NO NO, I protest to not that path be taken by the coming guests, its the challenge of life... GO BACK TO IT and reason with the area officials to name that route as Shelbees Chaser...! MAYBE THEY WILL ACCEPT IT...
@@ChaseandShelbs please don't do those kind of shortcuts. Always travel at a national highway because those unknown roads could led you to places where aswangs and engkantos live and you have no idea how to deal with them especially in cebu where there is a place very famous for having aswangs👹👹👹
Glad you guys find your way back safe. Also a tip when you're eating in any eatery , cafeteria or restaurant in the Philippines, don't be shy to ask for any condiments such as soy sauce fish sauce salt pepper etc...
I discovered this channel today and I already watched all your Philippines videos. First, thank you for visiting our country. I watched countless of foreigner travel vloggers exploring the Philippines and you guys are the most genuine ones. Just like other countries, we have lots of things we can be proud of but of course there's also lots of scary things like thief, scams etc especially if you're a foreigner, so I hope you guys wouldn't experience any of that. Lastly, as someone who have walked in a lot of roads like that, which feels like you're walking in the middle of nowhere, that is absolutely terrifying, especially if it's in a foreign country. You guys are really brave. I hope you guys would explore more of Philippines and I promise to watch all your videos ahead. Thank youuu and ingat always! 💗
We are so glad you found us! Thank so very much that was so lovely to read. We try to be as genuine and honest and just have fun travelling in general. We are super cautious too with all of our stuff so we appreciate the tips! You never know what could happen. That road was so scary and we are happy we are out and safe and we never want to experience it again. But the adventures won’t stop hehe ❤️❤️
I'm not used to comment or like any videos that I watched, but you guys really deserved the support from us Filipinos. The experienced you guys made is literally adventure, losing in the Jungle is really scary specially to both of you who are tourist here. Happy to know that you guys are safe. Excited to watch more adventure from you guys here in Philippines Be safe and watch your belongings everywhere you go.
Wow this was so lovey to read. Thank you very much. It was a scary experience hut we are glad we made it out safe. We laugh about it now haha. Lots more videos to come your way, thanks again for your kind words and support 🥰🥰
This is one of my fav from your trip adventures in the Philippines......I feel you guys for being alone and scared in the jungle but all I can say is that it is part of your journey and we can learn from that experience......Overall, I love this adventure😍😍😍
Chase have eyes that makes you tipsy..Shelbs is one bubbly and foxy girl. I don't usually follow travel vloggers but am drawn to you guys. What a fun and interesting couple. Nice to have you guys out and about in PH. Cheers!
Wow that was scary. You two are so adventurous. Please do take care. Always bring some supplies. It’s quite a hike to go up there. Glad you are both safe and sound.
Thank you for visiting the Philippines. Part of the enjoyment is to conquer fear of what we called adventure. Enjoy your exploration and be safe always
I really like your vlogs! It's not limited to waters, beaches and island hopping but you go to all types of places exploring them naturally and that's nice of you!!
i love the jungle horror adventure part, reminds me of my college days when we also got lost in a remote place in the jungles of southern Philippines and the sun was setting too. the horror in that experience tho is that one of my friends is a psychic and keeps on telling us that a tikbalang(a philippine creatures of the dark) has been following us and that he's been seeing spirits everywhere... Great vid as always...Hope you have more fun on ur adventures and take care both of you...
Haha it’s so scary but we are glad we made it out of there.. 😂 we have heard about these stories.. glad we didn’t know about them before, we appreciate that chai thank you, cheers 🥰
Ohh! an horrible adventure but you both did it too well.. What matters most is that you're doing fine, safe and happy after all.. God bless you more!.. 😘🙏😇
Glad your both good. Every panic situation in life turns into an asset for further adventure. :] Whats nexts swimming with great Whites? LOL Your adventurous spirts shine threw in all your videos that keeps me coming back for more! I also find them very educational in planning my wife and our next adventure. I'm sure I don't speech for myself when i say that your travel footage and infectious happiness always brings a smile to my face. :] 💕 👍👍
Us too James hahah! And NO no great white sharks ever 😂😂 haha those things are terrifying. Can’t wait too see what you guys get up too. Australia is calling your name haha. Thanks so much for the kind words heheh we are having the best time. Lots of love always! 🥰❤️
im literally binge watching your videos...... welp... you haven't been to the Philippines if you in have not had a jungle scare or two... love you guys...
Oh you guys had Lomi! One faves! 😋😋 If you can, please try Dampa! Glad to know you guys are safe! You guys are so adventurous it's crazy! Love you guys!
Wow wow and wow. Very interesting adventurous story you just got. Isn't that's scary experience? Caught in the middle of the jungle with lots of unexpected things to think about? Few amount of gas left, sundown is almost there, no water, no more energy left, it was really near panicking situation, is this trail will let you go back to Moalboal? Yeah, I agree with you, it was really scary, I guessed if this going to happen to me I don't know what to do!!! hehehehehe, Enjoy your days travelling around!!!!
Yes it was soooo scary!! Being in the pitch black in the jungle with none of those things is our idea of a worst nightmare 😂 it’s an adventure for sure but not one we want to live again hahahah! ❤️
being lost in the middle of the jungle made the expirience more memorable ..❤️❤️❤️ I supposed to sleep because i have work tonyt but i was so addicted to your videos, i watched 6 of your videos..hehe...love you both!!!....if you have time ..try to visit BICOL region the mount Mayon and Calaguas Island...try to search calaguas Island and Mt. Mayon...I know you will enjoy the place..❤️❤️ by the way i will sleep now..hehe...see you on your next video!!! keep safe🇵🇭
It sure did! And Aw you are the sweetest!! Haha we are so glad you enjoy them. Thanks for the wonderful suggestions, we will have to check those out 🥰 get some rest and enjoy your week, lots more video to come soon! ❤️
I really appreciate how the two of you are trying to mingle with the locals. Keep it up guys! Also, you can start calling Cebuanos, "Bai" (Bye) which means friend in our Bisaya language.
Travelling around the world, especially in our country(Philippines) is a mix of impression and expectation but overall its an adventure that you guys might feel its part our journey to enjoy what nature can offer. Thanks for exploring pur country and accepting our culture and embrace our beliefs. Godbless bless you both, can’t wait for your next blog.
I had the same story and same route as well. Literally the same road we thought the way in to Moalboal. We followed the Waze app and the waze used the shorter way to Moalboal which we thought is correct but it was the wrong one. I thought the tires of the bike we used was about to pop like literally the road is too narrow and the stones are too sharp. You can really tell you are in a jungle. Worst part is some parts is so quiet, and tall grasses are all over the trail. We spent 2 hours on that and that was the scariest experience ever. I am from Cebu but I have never thought I’d experience it. Same thoughts as well to both of you.
OMG! I can’t believe you guys experienced it too! So sorry to hear that.. it was absolutely insane and the trail was so hard to travel on and indeed very narrow in parts.. I feel like there needs to be a sign.. not for bikes 😂 if people aren’t travel savvy they could be in serious trouble. Glad you guys made it out okay in the end as well ❤️
Yeah! We were out of hope back then and the sun was about to set. There’s even no reception and no way we can call for help. Up to this date I still couldn’t move on about what we experienced. Locals should put a sign that the road is not passable. Good thing back then I was wearing a comfy shoes which saves me from getting hurt because of hard stones. Good to know you’re safe as well!
Honestly, I don't know what to make out of your story at the end...BUT that's life! Even the most planned vacation can suddenly go wrong. Hence, always be prepared, mentally and physically, once you step out of your hotel or rather comfort zone. So glad you two made it out of that jungle trail alive. Take care and we love you guys!
I've just found your videos and it's a joy watching you both enjoying your adventures in the Philippines. Always keep safe. You got a new subbie here.🙂Looking forward to more of your videos in the country.💜💜💜
I can't imagine the "destroyed" & "tired" look of Chase in the middle of the trail.. i'm sure he is still cute by that time as cute as the terrified version of Shelbs.. I'm happy that you guys are safe.. enjoy Cebu :)
Hhaha aw you are so sweet! Yes in the end he was still cute as ever hehe, thank you so much, we have continued the adventures in the Philippines and are having so much fun! 💕💕
Just found your channel and am a new subscriber. The two of you sure fit a lot of activities in one day. Glad your story had a happy ending and that you were both safe and sound in your hotel.
My goodness how things can change from a good day to a scary, exhausting, & stressful one. Take good care guys & thanks for sharing as we can learn from this hard experience.
This is the first time I came to know that there is also a school of sardines in Moalboal, Cebu and your timing is perfect as there were also sea turtles around. Before your vlog, I only know a school of sardines in Panglao, Bohol.
Whew!! That's scary! I'm so happy you made it through that. Next time just go back the same way you came 😄 Love you guys! See you on the next one ❤️❤️❤️
Omg. I did those activities 3 years ago. It was fun experience. Too bad tho you end up with scary situation. Btw i keep on checking your page for updates on your cebu experience 😁
Thank God you guys are home safe. You still made it and overcome. Charge to experience. Charge to adventure. There's always a first time in travel and adventure. Stay safe. God bless your journey and more adventures.
That was quite the story you'll be telling for years down the road. I literally imagined myself in your shoes while you were sharing it and I could not imagine what I'd do. Luckily you have each other. Some are solo travellers, imagine if they had to retire for the night in the middle of nowhere. If you manage to find even a humble home in the middle of that jungle scene, you would have been hosted t their fullest capabilities I bet. That would have been another interesting story! Anyway, lugging the motor bike felt more of burden than an asset at some point, but just like you, I would not think for a second of leaving it behind in case I do reach a paved road ahead. To more adventures to come! Less stressful ones I hope! Take care and thank you for bringing us along in your journey! 😊
It was honestly wild haha! We were determined to make it down that crazy road and I’m sure if we needed to stay somewhere we would be taken care of. Chase was beyond exhausted so we were happy to make it out of that adventure 😂 thank you very much. Less scary adventures from here on out 🫣❤️
