This has to be my most favorite Sonic.exe mod ever. Man, the references and details are just absolutely perfect. Creepypasta mods are the best thing to come out of FNF. These stories may have been scary for us when we were younger but it's still some really good nostalgia.

Yeah it used the boss music for the JP release, but Europe and the USA have scarier boss themes, so it was scary instead of silly.

The Newer incarnation of Sonic.exe is a little of an odd one. Some creature that calls itself X. -I personally think it's better when the monsters remains a cryptid.- Honestly this mod is a treat to look at. All the little details- this clearly had heart and soul put into it.

I actually heard somewhere that "X" is actually the original Appearance from how the Creepypasta described Sonic.exe, and honestly i wished thats how the game based off the pasta took it cause X looks awesome

5:42 1, it was sonic cd, and 2, it was real. The developer in Japan put the boss music into that screen. The translation for the message was “fun is infinite -sega enterprises” so it was supposed to be an up-beat tune for that secret screen. But in the americas, the boss music was creepier. And caused the entire vibe to be changed. Edit: OMG THANK YOU FOR NOTICING ME MAN YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH THIS MEANS TO ME

Thats why the Sonic CD guy was there The execution boi was PC port If you wanna check a few of the fangames, I suggest Sonic.exe spirits of hell and Sally.exe whispers of the soul / sonic.exe spirits of hell round 2. Theres multiple endings to these games, along with a best and worst. To get the best in round 2, you need every ending before getting it, due to "deja vu", but start with the first one. For many, the sonic exe was the creepypasta that defined there childhood. But for me, a child with unrestricted and unsupervised internet, it was all about the my little pony videos that were a little too well animated (Cupkakes, and Smile HD to name a few). I was in 2nd grade and I uh...... have some trauma now
