@retroevolution
Next you should interview Joey from DK Oldies!

Lets be real waiting for a game for two years is unacceptable.

Questionable practices. If a game sold out in one minute, then why not order another batch? This company doesn't even try to do it. Why would you do order production of 4000 games only? Why not make 10,000? 20,000? You are artificially making the available stock limited and sold out.
@srviver104
PR crap. Just remember it’s over a year wait on collectors editions…. minimum ! I waited 2 plus years for Castlevania collection. Plus never over directly from them…. things will pop up cheaper on their Amazon account then form their website. I ordered Atari Mania, and by the time I got it from them directly they had already dropped their price on Amazon. They refused to price match their own prices !
@youtubasoarus
The whole point of that company is to get physical games into peoples hands so we can preserve gaming. Not to speculate on what people consider "limited" runs so they can get their game to go up in value. If you want to do that go buy pokemon cards or something. Games is meant for playing, not speculating on. Sickening. To be clear, i've never purchased anything from them but the idea behind it I can rally around. We are losing gaming to digital crap that is going to disappear into the ether. I'm not defending their business practices, but we need more physical games.

Makes me wonder how many people commented but didn't watch the video

no, this isnt the scary reality of video game publishing, this is the scary reality of telling fans that if you dont buy this now, youll have to pay double or triple its value later on. artificial scarcity is evil

Hearing a lot of a baby crying in this video
@jgwinnel
They should address the disaster with shipping preorders. Nothing says awesome like having to write in to ask them to ship orders that were complete and sat for 7 months.

My main thing would be if LRG could reprint games as I'd really love the price of LRG games to decrease along with letting others who missed out at the time to be able to get what they want.
@MelRetro
I appreciate LIMITED RUN for giving us these games we could never own at all
@pk251
Here’s the thing with lrg, they’re not perfect obviously but they’re doing what needs to be done. Without them, all these smaller indie games would be stuck on the eshop and then erased from existence once nintendo shuts the console’s online features.

More important question: is Limited Run games still firing people for who they follow on Twitter? Really cool how they made sure I'd never give them another cent so long as they remain in business.
@Amadeus_
If Limited Run did a run of Final Fantasy I-VI Pixel Remaster on PS4, especially the Collector's Edition... they'd go right back in my good graces. Do good things with your platform. There's a LOT of demand for that game, particularly the PS4 version. Hell, even the Switch CE version would sell like crazy. And it would murder the HILARIOUS mark up vultures on ebay.
@NerdyWeaponXGames
I prefer the open window preorder and happy to wait. It’s no different to when a big AAA game gets announced months in advance and retailers take preorders the next day.
@TumoFiji
This is quality content 👏 Glad to hear more truth behind the gossip. While I'm not a fan of a few things LRG did in the past, I see the improvements and still support them. I appreciate the open orders and understand it takes longer.
@Mike15o
I would preorder from limited run way more if I didn’t live in Canada. Insane shipping costs. I wish the owner would consider allowing preorders through VGP in Canada so that we could get the games for the actual cost. In fact, I would buy more if there was a way to get free shipping for spending x dollars. A $50 game turns into $80 with shipping from LRG to Canada
@kalevipoeg6916
Sending scalpers boxes of trash? Helll yeah. My kind of guy lmao I love it
@Lynxan
I agree some things have bugged me about the waiting, but knew that going in. The bigger one was when I would get a preorder though them for a few of those Star Wars games and while I was waiting there where 2 packs of the games for cheeper then the singles I still was waiting on. In the end they do put a lot of games I want on Switch that I want and I do not want to get games on the Switch digitaly thanks to that constant internet check.
