At 28 I went in to get filler under my eyes because of my dark circles because I saw a RU-vidr doing that. I’m very self conscious of my dark circles. The dermatologist I went to refused because my circles weren’t due to loss of volume and more to do on skincare. She put me on a good skincare regimen and 4 years later they have improved. So happy I went to an actual doctor who cares for their patients

Be thankful for the parts of the body you like and don't be self-conscious about what you don't like. With time, I have grown to like some of the things about me that make me unique. And for the features I am not as fond of, I simply try to remind myself to not to dwell on what can't (or shouldn't) be changed. God bless! P.S. Enjoy your young skin! I didn't appreciate mine much until it started to lose its youthfulness. ;)

South Korean subscriber here. I have talked about getting fillers or Botox with my cardiac surgeon father and his plastic surgeon friend. They kindly enlightened me that there are some cases of fillers causing blindness. Especially when you get it near the eye and upper part of the noes. It is rare but it sure happens. The worst part about this is that you can not take any legal action against the filler manufacturer about this. Doctors usually don't recommend getting plastic surgeries or even a few syringes for their loved ones. I hope girls find their inner strength to resist this look-perfect social insanity.

I find a good way to test whether you can trust your injector is exactly by educating yourself. I thought to get a little filler between the brows at one point but found out through Google that there's a chance at going blind. So I asked my injector what my options were for between my brows, mind you she was the boss, and she said to get Botox and filler and that she does both for herself. I asked her of the risks and she said there wasn't any. I proceeded to ask about blindness. She said there's such a minimal chance at blindness but she couldn't make any guarantee. I asked if it was due to everyone's anatomy being slightly different or because of the fact the filler moves, doesn't leave, and expands. She seemed genuinely shocked that I was informed and also seemingly unaware herself that filler could do that. At that point she recommended just not doing filler 😅 I swear everything that's a business, we have to become an educated professional at ourselves.

What’s most terrifying is, even if someone has fillers and runs to get them dissolved after watching this video, it’s not even that simple - because - 1. Apparently after too long, the fillers become part of the skin/“enmeshed”, making it harder to remove them, and 2. It’s not known for sure yet that the substance to dissolve fillers, which targets what fillers are made of, (H.A) does not also (unfortunately) target and dissolve your body’s OWN natural H.A (the natural H.A. is good for you), thus adding to a look of further ageing after removal. I’ve known this for like 10 years or more. When I was a teen, I wanted a small amount of filler in my upper lip (it is significantly smaller compared to the lower lip). I was thinking about it for some time and then discovered this documentary. A doctor showed an MRI or something and it was clear that the filler didn’t dissolve years after and also migrated from the patient’s lips all over the face. This information was easy to find, people just ignore uncomfortable truth

This is 💯!! I bet you still look 25, am I right? lol. I’m 32 and feel exactly the same way. At one point in my late 20s I ALMOST gave in and got Botox, it was more because I had read it could help with migraines but I figured it could be a “two birds with one stone” deal, making me look “younger” while helping with my migraines. All of my friends were getting it and telling me “I’d regret it in a few years” joking that I’d look 50 by 35 and they’d still be getting carded. Suffice to say I am SO thankful I didn’t do it!!! I hate to judge people’s appearance, but the friends of mine who went hard on the Botox look at least 5-10 years older now. So many beautiful girls I knew from high school and college all look the same now- they have “influencer face”, they changed everything that had made them unique or interesting looking. Very sad. Ironically enough, I got carded yesterday buying a lighter (for my candles, not cigarettes! Those will def age you lol). Obviously I didn’t bring my ID in to the gas station I was buying it at (I think you have to be 18 or 21 im not even sure lol) I assumed surely no one would ask me at this point in my life. The guy told me I needed my ID. I was like… seriously? So I went out to my car and got it, and when I handed it to him and he saw my birth year, he laughed in a “oh wow you’re definitely old enough” way and handed it back. I was like yeah, I told you lol. He was like your face looks young, under 21! I was like get out of here lol you don’t actually believe that he was like “I asked you for ID!”… I full don’t believe him, he probably just got busted before selling sh*t to underage kids and is extra careful, but I NEEDED TO HEAR THAT AND IM NOT MAD ABOUT IT. So much for my Botox friends being the ones getting carded! Though I still have a few more years til 35, so we’ll see then… 😂

I was a child in the early 2000s, to me they might as well be injecting plastic into their face. An area not designed to process and pass out larger molecules. Common sense. I never believed the nonsense that it "dissolves", I suspected it just went to other areas of the body. If a child of average intelligence can figure that out, then it speaks volumes on the lack of common sense people have.

@Olivaro10
@Olivaro10 Месяц назад
@@BlueDauntless Sure, that's why I said they are useful for people who's weight is actually damaging their health or is actually life threatening. I know from my best friend that eating can be like an extreme addiction and like most addictions they can be extremely hard to beat. She managed (at least to stay off the heavy weight she had on for almost 30 years) basically by moving her addiction to eating to an addition to sports, but either way she was dealing with childhood trauma from abuse, depression and other mental health problems by "rewarding" herself with yummy food and it was compulsive. Think about buying anything sweet that would usually be consumed in the course of a week, but once she started eating she had to finish it all in one go. But going back to Ozempic and similar drugs: I see it as an emergency measure for people who either suffer from food addiction or have a health condition that causes extreme weight gain, to save their health or life. Like you mentioned, this should be closely monitored by their doc and should come in tandem with lifestyle changes. It's a serious drug with side effects so it shouldn't be used just to get rid of a bit of fat that you could lose with a bit of sports and change in your diet.
@nilnil7325
@nilnil7325 Месяц назад
@@Olivaro10 Ozempic doesn't have long term data on its side effects. If it is being prescribed to only extremely obese people, then yes the benefits might outweigh the potential risks. The problem is that it is currently being prescribed en masse to people who should be losing weight through dietary changes and exercise. There was a massive media blitz last year starting around New Years, that should give everyone pause.. those are advertising dollars at work. So many people bought into the 'miracle cure' narrative and very few people questioned why Ozempic was being covered by the media so extensively (timing the media blitz around New Year's is no accident either).

I’m an Aesthetician in a Plastic Surgery practice and it is absolutely true that filler migrates and never goes away. I recommend a more natural approach to stimulating your collagen, elastin and growth factors by way of micro needling and it can’t hurt to get on a collagen supplement. There’s a ton out there so do your research. It’s a shame ,so many young girls getting all this filler in their 20’s are going to look awful in their 40’s. Hyaluronidaise will dissolve filler but in many cases, especially for more mature women since the skin does not have as much elasticity as younger skin, the patient may then need treatments to address skin laxity.

People always want to be something they are not. Until they realize the grass isn’t as green up close. What a lot of people view as flaws are simply physical/characters traits that can look good if they just take care of themselves. Being unique and cool is a rarity nowadays because everyone is striving to be everyone else. Or everyone is striving to be different in turn being just like everyone else instead of just learning to take care and love themselves. The only thing men or women need to look good is be relatively healthy and fit, be themselves( doing what you love always makes a person more likable), and not be trash to others. I will always be against any surgery outside of health and life threatening emergencies. Whether it’s facial, boobs, or butt for women. Or height and hair for men. Be you and don’t let society dictate or make you feel bad because you’re you. As long as you take care of yourself and love yourself you will look and seem so much brighter as a person.

@maddiebudner4333 Месяц назад
@@kats410 you have injections of an enzyme called hyaluronidase. It is an enzyme that dissolves the hyaluronic acid that this filler is made up of. You have it injected into the area(s) that you had filler injected. It starts working almost immediately and can take up to two weeks for the dissolving to be complete. It’s an uncomfortable process and can cause some swelling, but it’s really the only way to reverse hyaluronic acid fillers so it’s worth it in my opinion

It’s the silicone injections all over again, this has happened before. We had the silicone injections in the 90s and early 2000s and they were eventually banned because it had all these terrible complications. There’s no such thing as a temporary filler. Duh it’s plastic surgery lol. This has always been the stigma. Plastic surgery used to be super taboo and really frowned upon. Then in the last 5-10 years, it’s become crazy normalized to the point many women think it’s abnormal _not_ to go under the knife, despite insurance never paying for this stuff. What’s even sadder is despite this info coming out (which for the record I always knew it never left your body. Yes it “goes away” in that it loses its turgor/form and dissipates throughout the tissues, but that doesn’t mean your body excretes it) is that women will still keep doing plastic surgeries and just rationalize “oh it’s just this specific procedure, the rest are fine” and keep giving the industry money

Be grateful that you don’t have those issues, can wear any top you want and can exercise/run without them bouncing in your face or not being able to find an adequate sports bra to hold them in place. And since she lost quite some weight a couple of years ago she feels selfconsious about them being a bit saggy because the weight pulled on the skin so much for over 30 years. I know that quite a few women just have big boobs without even being overweight so the problem can't be alleviated by losing weight, plus there is this stupid attitude in society like "OMG, why would you intentionally reduce your boob size if you are blessed with big ones!" like chronic back and neck pain and just not wanting the attention wasn't even a thing.

Keep in mind just because you have parents that love you the way you look and are doesn't make bullying and insults of your appearance any less hurtful, same with having a partner who loves your appearance.

A woman I follow online is so naturally pretty and did not have thin lips at all, yet she decided to start getting filler. She got so much that her lips look painfully huge and the rest of her face looks puffy too. Assuming she's being honest, she's only had lip filler and stopped getting them years ago. But her lips are still huge and her face is still puffy. It's so sad to see. She had such a pretty smile before filler and now it looks painful for her to smile (it probably isn't, it just looks uncomfortable). Another woman also got so much lip filler, it looks okay from the front but from the side her lips are SO puffy, they stick out like duck lips. I hate to even say this because I don't like to pick on people's appearance, but the lip filler/cosmetic procedure trend has gotten way out of control. People are starting to see the consequences of the trend. Soon I think we'll be starting to hear about more people regretting these procedures.
