People are underestimating what Arteta has done, TRANSFORMED Arsenal from a banter club to actual competitors who can take anyone on and can legitimately challenge for titles with a young squad on now long term contracts, absolutely brilliant.
@@NutBuster99 the lack of experience showed when Saka went for the dive instead of going around Neuer but we will be back stronger next season like we came back stronger this season in the Prem
@@johnrockyryan Look at more than that slow mo replay of one angle of Neuer's challenge that he put in after Saka beat him. Then tell me who initiated the contact.
I don't think u are an Arsenal fan. I know a major trophy is coming. Getting a young manager like Arteta is not easy if you'd been there during the second part of the Wenger era you wouldn't be talking like this. Shameful of you.
People can mock arsenal or arteta as much as they want......but this man really is building a team for the future......this arsenal team will indeed win trophies......I'm not an arsenal supporter......but just can't hate this man.....the passion he has.....the team spirit he has created.... nothing but respect for him
What he’s doing even without a trophy yet, is a joke. To break into the duopoly between Pep and Klop by itself is a joke but to repeat it is utter madness. Pep and Klop had their own mini league at one point.
@@phillyjackson1680put the trolling aside you’ll see he’s doing the right thing at the club… for a young manager who hasn’t coached before he’s on the right track
This is the most Arsenal comment I have read on RU-vid. You lot really can celebrate anything but winning a trophy 😂 ‘duopoly’, Liverpool won ONE title.
@@flu3 how sick can one be why shouldn’t arsenal fans be happy nobody said they’re happy not winning a trophy but we are happy with the progress same lot that would attack arsenal if they were in the current situation of man united or Chelsea. Arsenal will win the league under arteta know this and know peace might not be this season, but definitely next season as long as we keep on challenging and improving the squad
There was this running joke once upon a time: - What's the difference between Guardiola and Arteta? - Well, one's been managing Man. City through several incredible seasons... And the other is Guardiola😂 P.S. Mean no disrespect for Pep whatsoever - he's a brilliant manager, and more than proven that times and times over.
The one quality we need to admire about Guardiola is how secure he is about his position and his team. It does not matter who comes and goes, man is unperturbed.
What I like about him is, you can see him improving as a manager season after season. He went to Tottenham and was humble enough to play pragmatic football to counter them. He had the players to go tow to tow with them with a High line but he came in for the 3 points. A future legend.
Arteta’s Arsenal will dominate, he will have and leave an era at Arsenal. What a time to be alive as an arsenal fan we have been through so much and our saviour has arrived to bring the glory days back to the gunners I’m so happy I went through that tough time as it will make me cherish the good times to come
No, not ALWAYS - that's completely the wrong attitude. Some people had that attitude with Wenger and looks where it brought us. When new evidence is presented you MUST act on it; if in the future it becomes clear that Mikel needs to go you CANNOT continue to "always nack him" or we will be right back to square one. Support, love and fandom do NOT mean 'always backing', they mean criticising & pushing for change when appropriate.
Rated him highly when he won the FA cup for us. The manner he approached the game that time was different, he understood we did not have the personals to hold the ball and play fancy football. He instead approached those games with immense patience and fast counter attacking football. If you guys have the time go and watch those games against city and chelsea in the fa cup, It was a different approach that Arteta took. What defines greatness is doing the best with the cards you're dealt with. He did not inherit a super team but he is making one. Arteta will definitely go down as one of the PL greats. In time people will realise this.
I used to think he's a PR salesman. Cuz his pr game was top notch when he arrived but the results on the pitch were 8th and 8th in successive seasons... But he got everyone aligned in the same direction and playing for each other, that's when we could truly appreciate the technical side of his coaching. The players play a huge part in any managers performance, and there is a huge difference in players attitude from his first two seasons and his next 3 seasons. Long may it continue
@@kunimitsune177 to my original point, again, I would say that was mostly down to the players not responding to emery, and Basically pushing him out of the club
Please don’t say this because it just makes it worse What teams do we have to rely on now for Arsenal to win the league? Spurs? Brighton? I give it a 90% chance that City win 6/6 And that doesn’t also mention that Arsenal have to beat Spurs and United still who can be abysmal but will turn up and play their hearts out knowing our luck. It happened with Villa did it not?
Mikel Arteta is an arsenal, a real players’ manager and a man of sufficient football wisdom. What he will accomplish at the Emirates will continue to transform Arsenal.
The one thing arteta has done for this club at the moment has brought back respect, that is why the haters have come out of the woodwork, and long may it continue have no place on media platform for the likes of carragher and nevillle and the quicker they go the better,no one takes them seriously.
You mean the AFTV crowd... They're nothing but poison, they did it to Wenger, they did it to Emery, they did it to Arteta. When the going is good they lap it up. When it's bad they want blood.
There's a difference between having standards for your club and flip flopping when form isn't good enough mate. Congrats on the stupidest comment I've read on RU-vid man.
@itsTricksyGG But if you know football, you know it's not gonna happen in 1 or 2 years for a club that was in Arsenal's position... AFTV fans are pathetic!
...but you are the worst kind of fan ffs. Anyone who DIDN'T want him out *at that point in time* absolutely does not belong at Arsenal or any other big club or club that aspires to be big. Not changing your opinion when presented with new evidence is the definition of stupidity. The new evidence presented was Arteta's improvement, so he gradually won people over.
You should find some nice garbage mls club or something where their entire culture is about toxic positivity and any actual criticism or desire to improve is vilified.
Makes me feel so good about my fighting for Arteta through those first 2-3 seasons when things weren't going well. I could see the job he had ahead of him and exactly what he was trying to achieve. We may fall just short this year but it's not far off now and we will win the league.
After yesterday win against our London rivals Tottenham,i have a strong feeling that Arteta has the right tactics and ingredients to win this year title league, it's just a matter of time before Mancity to slip up and the league will be ours. I don't see arsenal being beaten or drawing in the next three games
There are people with brains who genuinely think this guy is not the right man. Whenever he leaves the club with all trophies he will win eventually, I hope those people never celebrate a single trophy
Arteta is surely for the future , the problem is not him the problem is the arsenal it self . For example unai emery is one of the best coaches in the world but flopped at arsenal I don’t know what happened to arsenal
Emery shot himself in the foot.... He swapped Xhaka & Torreira's roles in his last season... Imagine Xhaka as a No.6 CDM & Torreira as a No.8.... Emery messed up
This clip should be watched by anyone who doubts Arteta or the current Arsenal team, it's a very good explanation and reminder of how Arteta changed the club for better in such a short time. A lot of ignorant people criticize them as bottlers for finishing second last season (and probably this season as well). But to jump from finishing 8th for two years in a row and before that 5th and 6th for several years, to second place (after the mighty City and Guardiola) in just 2 years (for probably 2 years in a row) it's no fluke and nothing to be sneered at.
I never see him throwing this team up to this level,i once called him a rookie coach,i doubted buh now i believe him to the blood,i love him to blood, the job he has done in arsenal is really magical.he's born to be arsenal manager. That's his destiny.
As an Arsenal fan for more than a decade now, what Arteta is doing with the club both in & out of the field is magnificent... Arteta & Xabi Alonso is probably the best coaches among the new generation...
I think yeah he is the reason he elevated arsenal to a point where the cant handle it sometimes Arsenal next year will be strong just a matter of time the confidence and the maturity will be there
I was a fan 3 years before but really started following when arteta came in … one of my most memorable thing about it anytime we got a pen I knew as long as arteta was on we’d never missed or missed the one hand celebration 🤣
I was a Arteta out. Not b cuz I don’t like the guy, i loved Mikel Arteta from he was at Everton, he brings tears to my eyes to see how he’s lifting our club up from previous seasons to where we at now. Im so happy for Mikel and Arsenal ❤❤❤❤
to be fair, even when Arsenal were finishing 8th, I knew Arteta was the man. He had a plan, He knew how he wanted his team to play. He was fair in giving the present players a chance to buy into his way of thinking and he wasn't about to let them dictate to him. It takes time to get rid of the old wood and bring in the new. I know a lot of fans live vicariously through winning trophies to give meaning to their sad empty lives. But I'm OK with not winning as long as the team plays good football.
Didn't want Emery in the first place and wanted Arteta even then, but in hindsight, I feel Arteta would have probably struggled if he had come in immediately after Wenger. I haven't always been convinced with his transfers in like Vieira, Zinchenko, Willian, even Havertz, as well as his treatment of ESR (I want those Hale End guys in the team damn it),but at the end of the day, he is the only manager I can see at the helm.
I know this is an Arsenal vid, but as Man Utd fan, I have to point out that due to this guy and Ferguson in his first 3 years is that I trust Ten Hag, and if they give him what he asks this summer, we might finally be back at top 3 football, especially now that Klopp is leaving.
Arsenal are now a solid 85 point per season team. Even if they don't win it I'm proud of the boys. I think Arsenal could improve slightly to 90 points next season. However, will City reach 95 next season? Who's to say they wont? - But a dynasty must end sometime.
Arsenal had to break the mould of expectations in premier league and gave him time. Let's ve honest he would be gone after 2 years if they didn't have a plan and believe. And let's not forget its a business and to take losses for couple of years you have to be certain you will cash in eventually. Fair play to the owners and the board. And let's not forget he's learning on the job. He will only get better
I am not an Arsenal supporter but i have notice how dominant they have become like Liverpool and City they have dominated teams at home becoming usual to get 20 something shots and restrict the opponents to single digits like against Chelsea 5-0 27 shots to 7...Strikers are now having in some matches 4/5 shots one two target midfielders like Rice full of confidence shooting defending tackling fouling Ben white attacking shooting supporting the attack going up with confidence shooting scoring ,centre backs like Magalhaes having a go shooting the dangers are coming from anyone anywhere in the field something only City used to do Havertz has adapted so well impressive and Odegaard leadership rarely disappoints Arteta is slowly and in his own right becoming a force to reckon with tactics matching against any other manager i have immense respect for him and the ARSENAL he has created .
I supported him when he let go of lazy players who held the team at ransom. What i saw him do for the club when he was the captain it gave me hope that he will be the one to bring back arsenal cultural values. I also wanted Thierry after world cup stint with Belgium. We really needed our type of football back.
Id love , hope we win the league this year. But either way as a childhood fan , 35 now, im so happy 🎉🎉 We are the top club, klopp gone, pep and city 115 charges This summer window everyone will want to play for arsenal Were back to the top
I won't lie I was sold on Uni. When Arteta came I wasnt sure I was #artetaout but now I will die for this man he has taken us out of the gutter and now we will beat City! ❤ Thanks to the maestro
When they were 15th and Arteta out, I knew even backed then and supported him. You could see it in the pitch, the cohesion and the way they were pressing, but had a shite attack...
Look at the games it took prem great managers to reach 100 wins, now factor in how much managing experience they all had prior! Even though arteta got great experience it’s a whole different beast doing it alone, and look at the state we were in.
I can't see Pep managing in clubs without a big bank balance. He's managed in Barcelona, Bayern Munich and man city. These are clubs with loads of money and can buy the best players. I can't see Pep doing what Mourinho did with Porto, which at the time, were like Everton. When Pep manages and turns mid table clubs into title contenders, then I'll be impressed
The guy can walk into any club in the world atm, Barca, Real, Munich......Even Man City if and when Pep decides to leave...They would all welcome him with open arms!
