I remember Darrell Waltrip mentioning Larry Carter's lawncare history in his autobiography. It always seemed like Carter-Haas was a team that had the potential to win many races but never could pull it off. The interviews with Pete and Spencer are starting to make it clear why.

I remember stopping by the ol Smokin Joe's Racing shop in 1994 just off I-77 at the Wilkesboro exit. Look like a 4 bay garage and all the cars were red. You could see those cars were Junior Johnson hand me downs. The whole team looked like a "fly by night" outfit.

You men do great interviews with the type of people who once drew me into Nascar. Thank you sincerely
