@@LemonDove pardon my cynicism, but we can’t even count on the senate to abolish a blatantly unconstitutional “rule” to pass VOTING RIGHTS legislation. We’re literally just yelling into a void. They aren’t playing by any “rules” and A decade from now we’ll be living under dictator desantis and it’ll be our fault because we just stood by.

He polls far above anyone else when you take trump out and he’s much more competent, meaning he can get done what Trump couldn’t. Trump is a means to an end for the GOP. He’s weak and incompetent but they need him to prime the base for what’s to come if republicans take control of Congress.

Demand Congress pass reform legislation (His bill proposes reform of at least ethics issues, and laws to reform to end abuses unleashed by the Citizens United decision are two examples.) and impeach corrupt Justices. All in all, it will take our power, votes, to elect honorable leaders at every level of government. It may take years. Persist.
Why aren't Democrats pressing him to run for president? He might even be a strong Progressive candidate, this country might be ready for a strong third party candidate.
Whatever the cost, I strongly feel that we MUST invite -- or draft, if necessary -- Sen. Whitehouse for a White House run in 2024. From everything I've seen from/of him, it's clear to me that he is what this democracy needs to survive.

Thank you, Senator Whitehouse for this eye-opening report. I am saddened that after 5 months, so few views have been marked. This report should be required reading in every high school in america. There should be 200 million views. It surely seems a daunting task ahead to pry out such embedded corruption in our highest court, but it is ,indeed, the most urgent threat to our democracy today.

the congress can't over turn this type of decision the courts decision is final until another court over turns it or maybe lower courts create a list of precedents
He can’t do it - Congress has to, and we’re stuck with Joe Manchin and Krysten Sinema (fake Democrats) who won’t vote for it. We need to get more Democrats in the House and Senate in 2022 so that those two fake Democrats no longer have any power.

Justices can ignore EVERY amicus brief and should- thoughtfully reading the briefs of the parties and researching their arguments to get to a thoughtful conclusions should be more than enough work! So should they be eliminated ? I think so.
Is being a year more than a year, do the court did something about it? It sucks when the supreme court are corrupted by the time of the previews fake president and when they were all in complicit at once. I wonder if 2or 3 of those honorable supreme court can do something about this horrible damage being cause by this corrupt group of careless people? Section 5 of the FTC Act prohibits "Unfair or deceptive acts or practices in or affecting commerce." Shouldn't the same apply to the news, government, and political campaigns by law. #TruthMatters - Freedom of speech was never meant as freedom to distort the truth. "Tyranny is defined as that which is legal for the government but illegal for the citizenry." - If the government can prohibit unfair or deceptive acts in commerce why would we expect or accept less from the government, those campaigning for a seat or position, or the news. In essence they (government and campaigns) are all selling us something, even if it's an idea, goal or plan. As for the news, there is a major difference between a reporter getting wrong information and intentionally misleading others.
