I am loving this, I feel the kids are learning more than you do in a classroom. Plus they are enjoying life. You are teaching your children to enjoy life and they are enjoying what you & they are learning. I'm jealous, love how the kids are enjoying & learning 🙈🙉🙊👍👍👍👍👍💕
They definitely prefer this to book learning, but we are making sure to do all sorts of schooling with them so they aren't missing anything😊 Field trips are definitely the best, especially when we are somewhere new!
When I was a little girl, my favorite family vacations were when we went to outdoor plays. I've found out that some of the ones in North Carolina are still going on. The oldest one is "The Lost Colony" at Roanoke Island on the Coast. My favorite is "Unto These Hills" in Cherokee, N.C. and there are others. They are a great way to learn history. While you are in N.C. you should check them out.
You’re in my area. I am in Salisbury, NC. Are you and the family coming to Salisbury for the Cheerwine festival? May 18th. They shut the streets down in uptown salisbury and fun and music all day. One of the most spectacular dinosaur fossils ever discovered is ready to go on display in Raleigh, N.C.!
Being a native of NC. This museum is pretty kool but please be careful in that area of NC. 😮. It has gotten very cautious and dangerous in the past couple years please keep your protection close. I'm in Western NC areas here are more family safe. The Cherokee story is awesome and sad in this area.lots of gem stone mines in the western NC areas...the oconee luftie village is a awesome place. They have cultural dimonstrations. There are also real elk in the area especially in the evening.💜
