I raced back in the 80”s. Terry was a legend in Karting and my idol back in the day. I was lucky enough to see him drive at Rye House in the early 80”s. I was in awe of this man.
Fantastic level of information here. It’s great to hear the stories of the drivers before they got famous and Terry’s insight. Can’t wait to hear from more karting legends. Great job!
" terry Fullerton the best of the best " saw him in australia at oran park in the wet he led ( amazing just before a " sweeper he threw his kart sideways with his engine to rev very loud whilst holding kart " in a power slide to put heat into his tyres and get into the throttle earlier than the others ) after the race looked at his kart front tyres had 1 tyre " straight and the other tyre running out for his " kart set up " ( incredible to witness his amazing talent to win yet again )
Great episode! I'm really looking forward to next ones. Would be great to see people like Lennox-Lamb, Rossi, Piccini, Haak or feeder series team owners like Josef Kaufmann for example.
" my uncle mason minns was " the manager of the karting racing team in england " of which included terry fullerton and mike wilson ( we would write to each other australia to england mason minns told me mike wilson will be the next world champion ( his testing at i.amme in italy amazingly fast ) ( terry Fullerton stay safe and stay well from australia ) cheers
