If the government is SO concerned about meat being this major "climate" player, then why didn't they shut down all fast food while all small mom and pop restaurants were locked down!!?? The government better be very careful about the choices they make from here on out...they are digging themselves a very deep hole and are about to get pushed in... EDIT** By the way, FANTASTIC video!!!
These studies dont even know what they are trying to disprove. The first step in making a study is to know and understand well what you are studying and then make it very clear what is trying to be proven or disprove. For example, no study yet about HPG has understood what HPG really is. It is not a practice or system, it is just a planning process. If people were to try and disprove it, they'd have to disprove the principles that one follows to make her or his plan. The plan is 100% personal and is just helping the rancher to achieve whatever he/she is trying to achieve, and it might not even be to regenerate the environment in some cases. What I believe most of these studies are trying to disprove or prove is whether livestock can improve land or not, which there are tons of small and large scales farmer who've proven that they can. Further more, what is rally meant with improving land? Define that well. If it means covering bare soil and stopping desertification, take a picture of a piece of bare soil everyday for 1-3 years where a herd of livestock has come in once or twice a year, and the results will be clear.
