The Coanda effect is the tendency for a fast-moving jet of air travelling over a surface to attach to that surface. In the Dyson Airwrap™ styler we combined this scientific concept with the Dyson V9 digital motor to create a spinning vortex of air.
Other stylers use extreme heat, which can damage hair. The Dyson Airwrap™ is different and doesn’t rely on heat alone to change the bonds within the hair structure.
Using air helps to get volume into the curl and avoid extreme temperatures. Intelligent heat control measures and regulates the heat. By keeping the temperature below 150°C, it helps protect your hair from extreme heat damage and maintain shine.
