3 years ago after Shambhavi initiation I had this burning question of what is Bhakti yoga and what being a devotee means. I googled, RU-vidd but never got my answer. I didn't search much. Coz I knew the answer will come to me when it's time. 3 years after, on 20th Dec, I got my answer. For a brief moment when I was in the hall for the meditation process during Sadhguru in Australia, I had a strong surge of energy in my Anahatha. A mixed feeling of love and pain. Being in the presence of my Guru, so near yet so far..... I knew that moment I became a devotee. Maybe I always was, I just didn't know. I knew that being a volunteer for the program instead of being a participant was a gamble. But I took it anyway. I was in the hall just for a brief moment, but that experience and connection I had, I just held my heart and vowed, "I'll wait for you even if I have to wait the rest of my life". 🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺

Please Read the Bhagavad Gita, The Nectar of Devotion by AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. Sadguru isn't qualified to talk about bhakti as he has read neither of the two books. Chanting Hare Krishna is the recommended method to attain God consciousness.

Bhakti is not Madness to get to be in controle! Bhakti Is devotion always needed to worship The God! Without Bhakti you cannot become true Enlightened.. Yoga Is equanimity ..Moi THe Conqueror

Trip yourself up a little. If it's handycrafts that comes easy to you, tie one arm down troughout the day. If it's the grace of spiritual living that gets you, go do stuff that grosses you out and don't mind who sees it or whatever they might be thinking. Not so easy consciously getting some meaningfull hardship on - much harder than freeing yourself from the unecessary hardship and toiling in the first place.
