The scientific method is an important tool to solve problems and learn from our observations. There are six steps to it:
Observe and Ask Questions
Research
Formulate a Hypothesis
Test your hypothesis
Conclude
Share Results The goal of the scientific method is find out the truth. Let's try.

Quick summary 1. Observe and Ask Question:in this stage we think about a question because of our observations 2. Research: we do research about our question 3. Formulate a Hypothesis: we come up with a theory 4. Test your Hypothesis: we test our theory in a fair and unbiased way 5. Conclude: we conclude a result from our research 6. Share Results: we share our idea with other people

Yeah I watched this video, there are mistakes. A lot of it is bad wording which can lead to a misunderstanding of the method. It also assumes that your testing will prove tour hypothesis, which is not always the case It should be 1. Observe. The includes seeing something that needs explaining and informing yourself what is known about this phenomenon. 2. Formulate hypothesis. Based on your observation and what you now know, make an informed guess on what is going on. Your hypothesis must be both informed and testable to be a hypothesis. 3. Test. Devise controlled experiments to prove or disprove your hypothesis. 4. Conclude and revise. If your experiments prove, and can't disprove your hypothesis, you accept it. If your experiments disprove your hypothesis, your revise your hypothesis based on your new knowledge and test again.

The Scientifc Method is flawed as follows: 1. Observation : we cannot see many things even with the best tools available. You cannot see the 4th dimension (excl time). So this is also a Limitation of the Method. 2. CONCLUDE : Given that the entire scientist community of the world know approx Zero about the entire natural world, most of the Conclusions are and will be Wrong. This explains the numerous flawed Theories

1. Formulate idea 2. Gather data to test and try and falsify your idea 3. If your idea survives all the tests you can throw at it ask others to try and falsify your idea. 4. If nobody can falsify your idea it becomes a tentative best explanation until a better explanation comes along. 5. Never get emotionally attached to the idea itself, because it will blind you to better ideas.

in scientific method you fist ask your self why do you want to sleep after studying. do some research and come up with the hypothesis as to why it is happening. Test that study and see if it happens and do something else instead of studying and see if you get sleepy. After you are sure with the testing, Conclude the study and share it with people. I may be wrong but I just wanted to try my self. Your an MVP if you read till the end lol

Alex Ball Intro to pysch 8/29/19 1. I would like to examine do wearing socks have an effect on your speed in track. I am doing my topic on this because I was told that wearing no socks under your spikes would help your time improve, so I stopped running track with socks on at the meets. I began to see my times improve after I had stopped wearing socks and believed the two were related. 2. My hypothesis is that not wearing socks while running track does not improve your speed. Your speed is affected by a lot of factors, however socks are not one of them. How you train and prepare your body is the real factor to your performance on the track. 3. The variables I use would be track speed, and running with or without socks. The socks would be the independent variable, while track speed would be the dependent variable. The socks would be independent because wearing socks depends on nothing. The track speed would be the dependent variable because it depends on whatever is happening with the socks. 4. I would use a controlled group of runners for my experiment. I would use track runners who have experience as the subjects to conduct this experiment. Using random everyday people wouldn’t be a good choice of subjects because they aren’t use to running competitively and how to run track properly. 5. Yes I would do a double blind study with the subjects because I want the runners to run their best both ways. If the runners know that an experiment is being conducted they might subconsciously change how they run. Because of this I want my runners to run their absolute best with and without socks, after they finish the experiment I will tell them that they were in a experiment. 6. Ethically I found that this was a bad experiment to conduct because to many factors affect a runners speed to specifically pin it solely on socks. I still believe that socks hold no significant impact on a runners speed and how fast he goes.

In Israel, we have coins of 10 Agoras (1/10 of a Shekel, 1 Agora is 1/100 of a Shekel), 1/2 of a Shekel, 1 Shekel, 2 Shekels. 5 Shekels, and 10 Shekels. Their sizes are non-indicative of their value, as these are the coins sorted from biggest to smallest: 1/2 of a Shekel, 5 Shekels, 10 Shekels, 10 Agoras, 2 Shekels, 1 Shekel. Something to note is the color of the coins. All of the coins valued under 1 Shekel are golden, while all of the coins that are valued at or above 1 Shekel are silver. The one outlier is the 10 Shekel coin, which is golden with a thick silver trim. Have a good day observing coins!

- Maybe the coin is bigger because the imprint on the coin can only fit that size of a coin and it's worth is related to the art on it? - Maybe it's the amount of material and type of material that it is made of? (probably the reason) - Maybe it's because that's the way they were first made (the very first coins of X type) and they didn't bother changing it because they were lazy? - Maybe this is actually related to the total area/circumference/width of the coin and not how big (volume) it is? - Maybe it's based on the amount of metal paint used for each coin which requires a bigger surface area, so it's not the size that determines it's worth but the size correlates to the amount of paint they need per coin? - Maybe it's because the technology that used to exist to make the less valuable coins was not capable to make the bigger type of coins and their worth is lesser because of age and not size? - Maybe it's based on the coin's weight? - Maybe it's based on the amount of electricity each coin gain harness? - Maybe it's based on the coin's buoyancy level? - Maybe it's a combination of some of the above and there are very specific combinations that determine each coins' worth? That's all I could come up with in addition to your size suggestion :]

In Malaysia now we have two different version of 20c and 50c respectively, the older ones being much bigger in size than the newer ones. But to substitute its size and to equalize its value... the newer ones are made golden while the older ones remain silver.
