The Scott Centric review 

I have the 905 and the 907 . I only just got the 905 and have had the 907 for over a year now. Incredible quality in workmanship and components and it fishes incredible. Effortless and light with both power and touch

I have the 10ft 5w scott centric and it is such a beautiful and well made rod. It makes my sage sonic look like they are mass produced. I like sage, But the scott is just leagues above in quality and performance.

I have the 9'0" 5 weight and paired with an Airflo Superflo Universal taper WF 5 line on a Hatch Plus 4 reel is just perfection. Love American-made quality! Regards from down under in NZ.

I got the 1004 pair it with an SA infinity 5wt. 1.5X line weights higher and for me it's perfect for my still water fishing for wild brown trout in the 10 to 20 inch range. My 906 paired with the airflo ridge 2.0 universal taper. Sweetest rod I have ver cast. Over powers smaller fish for me but if I am chasing large stillwater rainbows or seatrout it's my go to. If I could cast one rod for the rest of my life the 906 would be it.

I love Scott rods and own several models and series. I have fished with a couple of Centrics and my opinion, is that they are not enough better in performance and as fishing tools, than my Radians. Obviously if you don’t have any previous series you get the Centric because it’s easier than waiting for a used Radian to be available, but all of the Scott’s are special rods. I am still fishing the older G2, S4 and A4 models, they still are much better than many of the more recent offerings by other manufacturers. Consider not just as a fishing tool, but I like to feel the fish fighting and transmitting vibration to my hand, something that many other rod companies are not doing very well. My only complaint about the most recent series is that Scott needs to lengthen the cork on the longer models to allow easier balancing with the right reel - 7” of cork is better on the 9 ft rods, and even longer on the 9.5 and 10 ft. models.

Which model would you recommend for streamer fishing with sink tips? Sub 4 inch articulated etc

Greetings from Sweden. Guys can u recomend me 2-3 rods that u think wold be great for dryfly fishing, domtime smaller nymphs? Rod i am after is 9 foot and in a 4 wt. I was thinkig Centric but i am afraid that is to fast. Tips are needed here😂😂😂. Like i said, plz tell me 2 or 3 rods for a job and it must be high end rods plz. Thank u.

Wich Centric do you find more versatile, 5wt or 6wt?
