Thanks for the nice review :) I'm glad you like the plane! Two observations though (to help you and your subscribers in their flights): - the starter button > you need to press it for 1 second. No less, no more. (it's actually written on a piece of paper just next to it) - the ballast reattached, as you said, and that's why you couldn't make the extra short take off. It did it when you landed, because your armed the "auto remount" in flight.

Too many simmers take the sim too seriously. Whatever you want to fly it needs to be fun and there can be little more fun than this!! Thank you for a crazy review of a crazy aircraft. Excellent.

The imagination of the authors of this plane is amazing!!! The quality of the model, the textures are very high, bravo.

Love your channel, the silly stuff, the serious stuff, the personal anecdotes, some history tossed in now and then - always very entertaining.

I love the retractable gear, the idea that someone went to the trouble to install that on this scrapyard built aircraft, despite it being basically completely pointless. (The gear is still outside, in the airflow, so you're not gaining by pulling it up) And 1100 HP....... that's effectively an early Rolls Royce Merlin's worth of power you've got there.....

The plane is very easy to fly, and the idea behind the parts used is great. The landing, however, is terrible. Immediately after touching down, the plane spins in all directions and is impossible to maneuver on the ground (XBoxX with Velocity One Flightstick). I've never had that happen with any of my over 100 planes!

You can 'arm' the ballast to re-attach on touchdown, basically doubles the aircraft weight on touch down lol. Also you can arm the flaps to auto-retract on touchdown as well, she will stop on a sixpence. Click spot on the dashboard to reposition the panel. Autopilot is also available via external hardward/keybinds. She is one hell of a beastie

01:27 this is actually the logo of a french youtuber named "thierry vigneau Boiserie" or "La Boiserie", who do really stupidly fun videos with scrapped cars, and I imagine this... thing is a bit of an hommage from a fan to his channel, because it's definitly something that he would do on his channel (the bmw wheel might be an easter egg to his channel too, because bmw are the cars that he's wrecking the most) ALSO, at 2:29, "Vilebrequin Approved" is also an easter egg to an other youtube channel named Vilebrequin, and these guys are basicaly the french equivalent of Top Gear, but "Clarkson era". I like the silly idea, and the modelling is amazing, but I would be more inclined to even give it a try if the flight performance was more plausible and matching the visuals of that thing. A junker should be challenging to fly and not have God mode enabled at all times. That's just too off for me, even for free. 😉

I wish I could get the dumpster fire of Microsoft flight simulator to download and run on pc. I tried for a total of 110 hours with no success. And I have a pc that is far beyond what the specs need.

Now given my financial situation, this is true fly simulation!
