G'day Jim, Thank's so much for posting, oh the Memory of living in Sydney going to see Aussie Pub Rock, Some of my most favourite live shows are; Bob Spencer Band & Spy Vs Spy & Darling Harbour, Bob Spencer walked of during the first song because they were told Turn It Down told by Darling Harbour Management management, Then Spys were told they had 20min, Craig's reply was But our first song goes for 20 minutes, so we got a 20 min version of Clear Skies, they were then allowed to play on, they played every song like an Extended version & we got about 3-4 hours in the afternoon Sun, Baby Animals @ Wonderland in Hanna-Barbera Land, Show started at 6pm & we got kicked out after Midnight Susie & the Boys didn't wanna stop, Painters & Dockers & The Screaming Jets @ Parra Leagues, getting to sing Ain't No Fun with Dave & accidentally giving him a head but Push Push, The Screaming Jets & Choir Boys @ Parklea Markets, Mrk Gable entered the stage on the back of a Harley, The Screaming Jets @ the Sydney Saloon Raising money for the Camperdown Children's Hospital, I still remember Dave & Bulldog doing the Mangina & Dave saying what are we gonna tell 'em if they ask we did for the money. I love FRC, Fix the Feeble & their rendition of 'Nobody Likes Me ' on the Tear of Thought album, Sacrifice & 🤔 F*^K it all their songs Would have loved to have seen the Birthday show, So Thanks again
shane eslick. Wow, all that sounds amazing. Nothing beats Aussie Pub Rock. I highly recommend watching my vids of two great aussie bands, Screaming Eagle & Ablaze. Classic Aussie pub rock for the modern day. Thanks for watching and sharing your memories ROCK ON BROTHER!
@@JIMDUMAY I've Subbed & hit the Bell, so I'll check them out, I saw you have some vids of The Poor (Boys) another Awesome live band (the Young's Have so much talent) after I wrote the comment, I'll be watching those as I saw a few of their shows too, I forgot probably the Most Awesome AusRock Concert ever, Turn Back the Tide on Bondi Beach, organised by Marc Hunter to extend the Sewage Outflow & clean Up Bondi Beach, That was MEGA, one of the Tv Channels recorded it but never showed it, started at Midday & went past midnight with each singer or band only playing 2 songs + a Duet, It's not worth listing who was there because seriously EVERYONE was, I can't even think of anyone who wasn't, although only Doc from the Angels turned up But Dragon backed him up, Doc did a special version of Am I Ever Gonna See That Turd Again, to which everone replied NoWay... 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
