Once a year, the usually quiet Meizhou Island in east China's Fujian Province comes alive with sounds of drums, fireworks and hundreds of thousands of pilgrims. They’ve come for the birthday of a very special local girl: The Sea Goddess Mazu. Lin Mo Yan died at very young age while trying to save fisherman during a thunderstorm at sea. She was diefied as Mazu.

Datuk moyang ku berasal dari sini, kalau bukan kerana Mazu mana ada orang Cina di Asia Tenggara, hingga di negeri ku Kelantan ada Tokong Mazu di sana.

10:43 Yeah there aren't many fish in the sea now so some Chinese (and other) fishermen go to the Philippines and steal fish! Sustainable fishing should be the answer instead of poaching. Come on. That's why we need to take care of the environment we get our food from. Let's stop polluting our planet or else we will suffer the consequences of our actions. The guy throwing the cigarette butt 12:45 in the ocean is a classic example of how we should not behave.
