The genus Austrocactus is endemic to Chile and Argentina, and as the name suggests, all taxa have a southerly distribution. A. hibernus was lumped together with A. philippii, however Sarnes and Sarnes (2020) have recently split these taxa again, therefore the species which appears in this video is probably A. hibernus. The Eriosyce has also been reclassified as E. marksiana after phylogenetic analysis. Cactus taxonomy... what a headache!
