Hi Nur. It is difficult to answer that question in general. It depends on the specie. What kind of cacti are you talking about?

What kind of dirt you use and did you dried the cutting before you plant it ???

Volcanic sand. No need to dry before planting. Just keep it wet. This different from most other cacti species. Alternative you can dry the cutting for two weeks and plant it
