What a delightful and timely message. My Dad was a Scot, and I laughed hard and out loud, at the reference to their "frugality", and at times love of strong drink. He was a devout Christian and faithful family man. You are such a wonderous blessing to my study of the word, and more often than not, the AHA! moments- when you correct my misinterpretations. God Bless you Pastor Begg! Truly!

I definitely see that with my husband's parents, now that they are empty nesters they have been indulging in the lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh, and the pride of life. Unapologetically.
