I am loving this entire series on Ecclesiastes-- The teachings here actually cause me store God’s Word because this preaching actually is teaching….Thank you Pastor Begg for being so gifted in your teachings

The book of Ecclesiastes is a much underrated book. Too little time is spent, from the average pulpit and in our individual studies, in extracting the gold contained in these verses of the Bible.

God promised perfection, not perfection on earth i live for God so that when i die i can continue to serve at his feet in heaven, yet we are under Gods protection on earth, great example is Job for a time he was not protected and the devil tried him the devil failed and Job was retuned to the protection of God and prospered, i have always told my kids its not the good times that make us who we are but the hard times that forge a good man, we come to God broken. when the student is ready the teacher will appear, i wonder how many times you Alistair have been that teacher. my great teacher was my mom she was my compass and she lived her life according to the word cancer took her 10 years ago my sister and myself took care of her i saw her suffering and it made me suffer for her and for me for my grandson who would never know her , i became closer to God than i had ever been during that time and he made me strong so i could do what i had to and help my sister take care of mom, 12 hours after her funeral at the Baptist church she loved and i grew up in my grandson came into this world the hospital just a few miles from the church his little smile brought me back as i was just so very lost and sad without the only person that ever put me before her on this earth, i never once said how can God let this happen. THIS EARTH IS NOT HEAVEN.
