Breaking down water during a tough bite can be a little puzzling. Most of the time you just got to follow your gut and try to stay in high percentage areas. Well hopefully they will get hungry for tournament time.
Saw Spencer and you at the captains meeting and the tournament. Wanted to chat with both of you, because I enjoy both of your channels, but things were pretty hectic. It was our first time on the river and we caught several smaller blues but couldn’t seem to find a big bite. Thanks for fishing the King Kat Trail, it’s run by a great group of people and I think yours Spencer’s and Steve Douglas’s participating really helps to promote the trail .
I caught a 7' alligator gar and had no net. My brother went to the truck a brought back a big "gig" on a 7' pole. He stuck the gar right behind his head and it went into a roll, spinning in the water. He must have hit my brother 15 times with that gig handle, beating him senseless! I was laughing so hard i couldn't see for the tears in my eyes.😂😂 That's one fishing trip neither of us will EVER forget and I still get teats every time I think about it.🤣😂 Thank you, Micka ! It's been another GREAT DAY !😂
Hey buddy great video I run a lowrance on my boat I use my sidescan the most I see lots of structure but I also look for larger lighter color shapes sometimes with shadows and fish shapes it’s hard to explain but I can sometimes make out a fish by the way it looks even if you don’t see anything that looks like a fish or a group of fish around structure or rocks do you still fish there I find myself getting impatient thinking I don’t see anything then moving on is that a mistake
Yes absolutely. Some of the biggest fish I've ever caught i never seen. I've learned that you will definitely not see every fish. If in doubt always cast out LOL.
