The idea for this episode came after I started shooting with filmmaker Chris Jones whom I met working at KVVU Fox5. He was doing a documentary on Sneakerheads, me on Hoopers. Both being basketball fans, we decided to help each other. Chris helped me w/ The Season (edting E28, E31), I continue to shoot on his film. While shooting I thought, "this would be a great episode w/ the Findlay guys". A year later here it is. I'm glad you all enjoyed the episode. I enjoyed making it.
This was an awesome awesome video. I would love to put together a video like this sometime. My only thing is, where are these high school kids getting all the time and money to build their collections like that haha. I loved the stories though, great stuff.

these guys need to listen to wings by macklemore. its all just a promotion to buy more shoes so nike has more money. the commercials and everything else just hypes up the shoes for no particular reason. the shoes are over $100 wtfffff is the point of buying them and never wearing them, just keep the shoes untill you die. its all worthless. like changing shoes at halftime that wont fucking make you play better , the shoes have nothing to do with it. its your fucking game thats the problem
I'm gonna be real honest, I am not a sneakerhead. I buy a new pair of basketball shoes per year and I've worn the same pair of Nikes (air assaults? I don't even know). And I typically am not fond of kids who talk about Js and all that but this episode is pretty damn good! It's cool to see an in depth look at another perspective on the life of a basketball player!

yeah no duh, you have every right to dislike this video, but you can't hide behind a computer screen and discriminate an individual by saying "Donne you need to be fired"... as that person did. Be humble about your opinions about somebody and their work.

sometimes people don't understand most shoe collecting is a dedicated hobby not an addiction. liking sneakers doesn't make you ignorant,or void of true priority.
