The Mariners have 64 games left, if you did absolutely nothing at the trade deadline this offense would be lucky to go .500 for the rest of the year and 32 wins would put the M's @ 84 - 78. To get to 90 wins the M's would need to go 38 - 26. What 2 - 3 offensive additions is going to get them 12 games above .500 ? This is also assuming 90 wins gets you into the playoffs. I personally think they're going to fall short by 3 - 4 games regardless of who they add at the trade deadline. I hope I'm wrong.
God, I've been saying that for years. That is so refreshing to hear that somebody else thinks that way it is insane the way these guys play rookies yeah play them on the bench your a sht manager Scott be gone
Director of Hitting Strategy for the M’s ,Jarret DeHart, needs to wake the f*ck up and listen to A-Rod. Contact hitting is vital to get on base and move the runners along. Striking out is foolishness. Exit Velocity and Hard Hit % doesn’t factor in when bloopers can move runners on base or score runs. The M’s have been below average in scoring RISP for the last 3 years. If Jarret DeHart doesn’t get this fixed, it will be the downfall for the Dipoto era of baseball in Seattle.
they are done playing for this manager They are all playing for themselves to try to be the hero. The message from the manager is dead and has been dead. Since he f***** off our playoff series against the Astros, they do not trust him. Plus he's a lame duck manager.
