Hi Jared! Things are definitely happening at an alarming rate. My husband and I had been inactive , for 15 + years in the church and really hadn't thought much about returning, until about 8 months ago. My husband started going back to church, but I had no desire.... One day, I heard from the very depths of my soul, that I needed to " Stand Up, Stand Up For The Gospel & Stand Up For The Savior! Get things right, time was short! " This radiated through my very being. I have since started my journey to making things right in my life, I have pushed so hard to become a person that would be truly and honestly Temple Worthy .I have come a long, long way in this journey. It seems like since I have been on this quest, I actually see things in a different light. My eyes are definitely opened wide and I am in awe at the prophecies being fulfilled at an accelerated rate! I see the signs and wonders and happenings that have been spoken of . I see all the prophecies that has been prophesied in the scriptures and by our Prophet , President Nelson happening and I can actually mark them off as they happen. I find myself hanging on the Prophet's every word, and to me , the scriptures are literally alive right now! This is an absolutely amazing and wondrous time we are a part of and that we are literally witnessing....WE OURSELVES , ARE PARTICIPATING IN THE PREPARATION OF OUR SAVIOR'S RETURN!! It's happening, at an alarming pace!!
My Mom came to me the other night in a dream. I didn't see her body but I heard her voice. I was in the process of expressing to her how much I missed her and my Dad and she said "we miss you too doll, we will see you soon." I'm 76 years old and kind of frail so I naturaly thought I was going to die and I asked her about that. Her answer was "we'll see you soon". Every time I asked her a question her answer was "soon" she did this four times and then she said something that brought tears to my eyes. After a pause she said " The Lord is preparing for his return". Since soon has been the answer since the Lord left the first time we don't really know what that means, but I'm sure President Nelson knows and I believe we should listen to his words carefully and faithfully.
I had the EXACT same experience with my grandma in the temple the other day! I was waiting to go into a session and my grandma came to me in thought and she said " I will see you soon" I know he is close! The question is when will we be called to the New Jerusalem?
Sandy, I recently had a dream about my dad who passed away in 2017. He was dressed in a tuxedo. I remember thinking that the suit didn’t represent “darkness” (as you’d expect white 😅), but he was dressed like he was at my sister’s wedding who also passed away. He looked fancy and dressed up for something special. 🤍
Do you really think the prophet would say “Jesus is coming” and “now is the time to prepare for the second coming” just unprompted? No. Clearly Jesus told him to say that. Just think about it. Jesus is at the door. He’s turning the knob.
Love this. 💯 Do people think he started to hear feedback about his talk and was like, "Oh... did I give folks that impression? Shoot. I didn't mean that at all!" No. No, he did not. In fact, this is doubling down on his "Time is Running Out" message from 2019. And so many in between.
@@SegoLilyI was thinking about this in prayer last night and Samuel the Lamanites warning to the Nephites. Yes, Samuel was more specific of his timeline (being 5 years from when Christ would come). And though I don’t believe the prophet would give the church or the world something so specific as that, it has been about 5 years since that message was given. If we believe the Book of Mormon to be a parallel and an echo of our times (and Lord loves patterns) then it wouldn’t be crazy to think that Christ could be here next year even. I still hold onto the thought that he will be here by the early 2030s, but it’s possible it may be a little sooner. But the world will go through greater tribulation than the pandemic
@@Azriel640 Oh, I love your insights! And I believe you're right. People tend to think of the Second Coming as one big event (even when they know better). But, we know there are several visits that are part of the Second Coming. The initial visit could easily happen very soon! And then, the other visits could happen while the work continues to hasten, tribulations increase, and prophesies continue to be fulfilled. I think people forget sometimes that many of these things can happen at the same time. But I think we have been warned in a formal and binding fashion. And in my heart I feel that was necessary before things could really get under way. Because, the Lord will do nothing save he reveals His secret to His servant the prophet. (Just as Samuel was told to warn the people before the Savior's birth). And which generation would require a formal and binding warning? The generation that it was going to happen to. Now is the time.
@@SegoLily Amen to that. I firmly believe president Nelson already KNOWS generally when the Second Coming is going to happen (cuz even he still needs to excercise faith). There’s a possibility he might even know the day (cuz Nephi was told at the last second that the Lord would be born the following day). Regardless, we need to prepare now. Like you said, there will be multiple visits as part of the Second Coming. I live in Toronto, Canada. But given the season of the US election there’s a chance a lot things will go down these next few weeks for good and for bad. But I remain optimistic for my future, and the future of the Church.
This is interesting Jared because The Spirit has been prompting me to repeat reading 3rd Nephi over & over again. In the past 3 weeks I've just pressed play on The Book of Mormon App and I've listened to the entire Book of 3rd Nephi @ least 5 times so far... I shall continue to do so. I've given a lot of thought to the way President Nelson ended his conference talk. I've heard prophets and apostles end their talk formally by saying that they are saying something AS a prophet or apostle. I've heard them leave apostolic blessings. I have never heard them invoke their priesthood KEYS like President Nelson did. It was unusual and unique. Priesthood keys DO things. They bind, and loose, and seal. I think what he did was much more momentous than we realized. And I think it may relate to his entire talk rather than just the bit right before he said that (much in the same way as when we close a prayer it applies to the entire prayer, not just the two sentences before we close). I don't know how to phrase this quite right, and I could be absolutely wrong. But I think President Nelson has issued a formal, binding warning to the World that the Savior is coming - and soon. I think that when the wicked stand before the Judgement Bar, if any of them try to say they didn't know, the Lord will point to this moment and say, "I sent my servant, and he warned you to prepare and to be ready." It reminds me very much of the last words of Nephi in 2 Nephi 33. He says, "For what I seal on earth, shall be brought against you at the judgment bar; for thus hath the Lord commanded me, and I must obey." In fact, right before he closes, President Nelson says, "I am His disciple. I am honored to be His servant." And I have felt that he was saying that to let us know that he was delivering this message at the commandment of the Lord - and THEN he sealed that testimony and warning with his priesthood keys. Which generation would the Lord send a formal, binding warning to? I would suggest it would be to the generation it applied to.
That also stood out to me very much. He is the Lord's prophet to the world and his warning was not just to the church, but to the world. I loved that he testified of his authority to give said warning. I really like your take on this.
The Stick of Joseph has a new RU-vid video - Andrea W. | The temple, The Veil, and The Bridegroom - I think it is interesting that you just did this video - She talked about how the Veil is lifted from the bride - right before she is presented to the bridegroom. - and how she believes that the change in the temple is connected to this. - many people believe that the church is making changes to give in to worldly demands - but I believe her explanation in this video is much closer to the actual truth. - when I go to the temple - my face is no longer covered - because He is coming soon. ( I tried not to share too much of what is very sacred to me - I felt it would be okay to share this - I hope others will ponder and pray about these things.) - thank you for your hard work
I also try to be very careful. With every RU-vid channel I watch. Even this one. I believe anyone trying to share truth is not going to be perfect at it - if they are doing their best to learn and share - it is my responsibility to do my best to study, ponder, and pray for guidance in knowing what is correct and what is not. I don’t just automatically believe what someone shares. No matter the channel. I try to be very careful with temple things because they are sacred to me. I felt she was careful about what she shared and the scripture they discussed. When she shared the part I repeated here - she said it was her belief. I also said it was her belief. - I have also had many sacred feelings come to me about the changes in the temple and even Come Follow Me - being guided by Jesus Christ. I don’t believe that I shared anything that would go against His teachings. - I don’t have to agree with everything that Jared shares on Christian home stead to know that he is a good person, trying desperately to find all the truth he can, and he measures it by what we have been given. Some purposefully try to lead others astray. But there are good people trying to help others. That’s why it’s important to seek guidance in what we are learning. I have had that guidance. Tell me to stay clear of some things. But most of the time I am required to measure everything by what He has given me. - I thought about sharing my comment before I posted it. I don’t believe I offended my Father in Heaven. I know that He knows I am trying to be careful with sacred things. I hope you know that as well.
I find it interesting that during this time of the Book of Mormon period, just prior to the appearance of Jesus Christ, the people were not fighting as much as they were divided by families and tribes. This tribalism seems very similar today.
Jared’s videos changed me! In February I went and saw my Bishop and got a temple recommend and when I started to attend the temple monthly I developed peace & Joy I knew at that point I was on the covenant path President Nelson in his conference talk has ask us hastened the work on both sides of the vail! There is no greater joy to have peace in your life then to go to the temple and do work for your ancestors I have had several spiritual experiences! Attend church go to the temple share the gospel invite someone to a activity then the spirit will teach you all things and bring all things to your remembrance like it says in John 14:26 & John 15:26 President Nelson said Sincere seekers of Jesus Christ will find him in the Temple and he will have Mercy on us We all need Mercy There is no greater way to receive mercy then to save souls unto Christ on both sides of the Vail! I go to the the Temple 2- 3 times a month and make time each time to do 3-4 endowment’s and other work and I am 45 minutes from the Denver Temple. You can do this!
That's awesome! As temples are built closer to the people it will be less of a time sacrifice, but it will always be a question of priorities. That's the real test.
The prophet just told is NOW is the time to prepare for Jesus’ second coming. He also said it’s the last half of the ninth inning a few years ago. He also said there are two things left to do. Gather Israel and then He’ll be here. I love watching Jared’s channel because he doesn’t go into “extra” scriptures. He just follows our prophets and keeps track of what they are saying. He looks at the obvious signs and wonders and he doesn’t really need to add much else to that. I study and read but I am not as detail oriented as Jared is. So, I thank you for this channel!
When a Prophet who is 100 years old says, “Brothers and sisters, now is the time for you and for me to prepare for the Second Coming of our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ” we should sit up and listen. He was careful to make sure he included the and for me. Does he think he’ll be here for the Second Coming? Sure seems like it.
Won’t all of the prophets be present for the Second Coming? I felt like his inclusion of himself was without regard to whether he is on earth or in heaven.
@@effervescentrelief It is Adam who presents all the Priesthood Keys. He is the chief over all the Prophets. Brigham Young said something which I read about years ago. Paraphrase, Adam is the God who we report too. At the time I thought he was either talking like a crazy man or it has a deeper meaning. Remember I can't quite recall how he said it and it became known as the Adam--God theory. I am 82 years old now, just a few years ago it came to me that Adam being Michael the Arch Angel who was 2nd only to the Savior and under the direction of the Savior led the Army's of Heaven in the war in Heaven against Lucifer. Then was chosen to be at the head of Gods children in mortality making him also standing at the head of all the dispensations. Adam or Michael was also the one to confront Lucifer and cast him out of Heaven. Also there is a similar happening recorded in Jude in the OT. where he had to confront Satan. I have often wondered if Adam was there at the 1st vision and if he prepared the way of the appearance of the Father and the Son to Joseph Smith by casting Satan away from Joseph whom he tried to kill. Like others commenting on President Nelson's talk I thought that maybe I will live to see the 2nd coming, I never thought I would. I was told at the age of 19 that I would live to see many prophecies that are yet to be fulfilled upon the Earth. There is of course a few things that still have to happen like returning to Jackson County, building of the Temple and the Redemption of Zion. President Nelson said that the Lord is hastening his work so things could happen quicker than we thought.
I wonder how many times a modern prophet has said "...and to all the world" outside of the Proclamations? That just seemed different and rare. Usually warnings and admonitions are told to the church body and not directly to the entire world (I could be wrong) And, he did so as a "declaration" using "sacred priesthood keys." That seems significant that the prophet just warned the entire world!

One wonder is how Milton went so quickly from a cat 5 (and one of the 5 strongest storms ever recorded) to a cat 3, and then the bottom of it broke up after landfall! You can check it out on weather channels. So many people were praying just for me and my husband, from California to Florida. How many hundreds of thousands of prayers were ascending for more! Heavenly Father hears and answers prayers! The storms indeed hear the words of the Master!
I had this experience in the temple about a month ago. I was so glad to be at the temple. I'm in the chapel, just feeling so grateful, looking at the picture of Jesus. I heard a voice right there: I AM COMING! The testament of that came with an overwhelming confirmation from the Holy Ghost! This happened before General Conference, and all I could say to President Nelson's talk was AMEN! He is coming!

Many people I come into contact with and various people I see weekly are not LDS but they are hopeful for Jesus to come quickly, I don’t understand where this is coming from . Who wouldn’t want Jesus to come right now ! I tell them about what our Prophet is saying and they say , yes , sounds good to me , they believe it and they aren’t LDS .
Joel 2:28 “I will pour out my spirit among all flesh” I was literally talking to two non member clients today and I mentioned this verse to them and they both agreed that they’ve felt strongly that the Second Coming is really close. The signs are there. Especially here in Asheville, NC everyone that I’ve come into contact with are blown away by the sign of the destruction and loss in our area. At the same time we are blown away by wonder at all the many miracles and tender mercies that have happened. That goes for member and non-member alike.
Ever since this last general conference I have been reading the talks over and over again. I am rewatching previous talks. I feel more strongly that I am seeing the hand of the Lord even more in my life. I am going to the House of the Lord more often and doing family history. I love doing indexing. It's so interesting. ❤
For the Eclipse, the sunspot, and the Aurora you had to have "eyes to see." Ex: special glasses, a good camera. Like having spiritual eyes to see the signs for what they are.
It’s been crazier here in Australia too!! An increase in violence and wild weather, out of the norm for us. Larger than normal hail, mini tornados, flooding. But also an increase in baptisms for our branch! 😁
I'm 59 and saw a meteor last night for the first time. I was so excited! It was amazingly bright and stunning with a green head and gold tail. It moved really fast.

It's easier said than done sometimes, but I think that it's important for us to give more heed to what the Holy Spirit is telling us than what some people say. The Holy Spirit only speaks the truth and testifies of the Lord, who is our perfect source of truth. What He says is more important than what people say. ❤

Hey I am in SE Idaho too! I agree, too many people don't realise how important it is to get solid with your testimony right now. This world is so distracting and I worry for the fragility of people's testimonies. The Prophets warning of not being able to stand without the guiding influence of the Holy Ghost seems to be coming true in real time!

The comming of the Savior is terrifying for those who have not been nurturing their testimonies, feeding the hungry, clothing the poor, creating treasures of believing. Your lamp is trimmed, and you use your spiritual gifts every day so your heavenly firmware is up to date. When your faith is in Babylon, life only gets more desperate, full of unbelievable misfortune and mistakes.
I wonder if those " hungry and poor" that we help are gonna be terrified because they're not lds members and do not know what a temple is or don't have a testimony? They're so many non-members who are good and honorable people who are gonna make it to the Millennium. just food for thought!
Your stars falling comments made me remember that back in Joseph Smith's days there was the Leonid Meteor storm I think in 1833. It was interesting when I learned about it. Joseph Smith felt like that was also a fulfillment of that specific prophecy.
Jared, you mentioned figs casting themselves down from the tree and it reminded me of an insight from my Stake Conference this past weekend. There's a Family Search initiative called "Turn the Trees Green," where the members and especially family records missionaries are encouraged to find the documents necessary to prepare names for Temple work. It reminded me of the Parable of the Fig Tree, where it says when you see the leaves budding out on the fig tree (fig leaves remind me of the Temple), you'll know that the second coming is near and that generation will not pass away before all the signs are fulfilled. What happens when a tree buds out in the spring? It turns green!
Where do you think Helene comes in? The rarity of an inland hurricane and the damage that it caused is something no one has ever seen before. The lives lost. The homes lost. The strength that the people of Appalachia have shown is an example for all of us.
Your videos are always an answer to the prayers I have! I feel so much sadness and heartache whenever I hear the our Saviors second coming could still be far away! I cannot wait for Him to come again! We definitely don't deserve Him the way the world is going but we NEED him! The problem is there are still so many that don't know this truth and can only be reached through fear and destruction.
Satan raging in the hearts of men is another sign, of course. The account in 3 Nephi 1 of unbelievers choosing a specific day to execute the believers might sound far fetched as a possibility in our day (depending on where you live), but I am aware of that kind of hatred being in people’s hearts. About 15 years ago, my daughter was in middle school and overheard a group of girls her age-some of whom my daughter had known since kindergarten-saying they wished they could just “throw all those ‘Mormons’ in their temple and burn it down.” They got that attitude from parents, social media, people on the community, etc. Why would we think that we and the people around us are so different from those people described in the Book of Mormon, not to mention other persecuted religious minorities throughout history (e.g. the Jews)?
With each succeeding General Conference, and especially the one we just had, I have sensed an increasing urgency from President Nelson and the Apostles about how we really need to be spiritually preparing for the Savior's return. I do hear people from time to time say it may very well be many years away, but I feel like it's very close. At least, I sincerely hope so. Yes, there are things that I need to do to be more ready. Nevertheless, I am hoping and praying to be on the earth when He does come. Anyways, thank you for sharing your thoughts here. ❤
I think President Nelson knows the exact day that Christ will return, but that doesn't mean the other apostles were told and most likely they don't know either. Hence Elder Stevensons Conference talk.
If the Savior comes tomorrow, everything that Elder Stevenson said about the next decade can still happen. He was simply saying that we should still have hope and optimism for our future in spite of all the focus on predicted/prophesied calamity. If everything he said takes place in a world where Jesus is reigning as Prince of Peace, and King of Kings, those events would be even more momentous and glorious.
If Christ came at the end of this year 2024, that would be the greatest Christmas gift ever, but unfortunately I saw a rainbow just a week ago. I want our Savior soon !!!!
You should read that prophecy again. It doesn’t say when there’s a rainbow He won’t come that year. It says that in the year there’s no rainbow, that’s when the tribulations begin. Seems to me the tribulations began a good while ago, perhaps before either of us were even born (but at least 40 years after Joseph gave the prophecy. Haha)
Hey Jared! Thank you for sharing your thoughts and videos! I have you to thank for helping me get into eschatology. About two years ago I had this immense feeling that I needed to get myself and my house in order. Listening to your videos has helped me understand some of the signs and times of the last days (thank you for your spreadsheets!) I’ve been talking to some of my non member clients and they told me that they have very similar feelings that the signs and wonders are all around us and that the Second Coming is imminent
Jesus is coming and I am so ready for that. I hope for it. I pray for it. That being said brother I feel like I need to point out just one thing and from a place of love so you know I’m yelling at you or mad…I believe His coming is soon too. People can’t say the things you see as signs aren’t. Like you said they have no authority to do so, that’s true. But you really don’t have authority to claim that they are either. Also, saying that the believers in signs and wonders are always in the right is not true either. The line of logic that “I believe that I am right about X, and I know that that’s right because I believe it is,” is a little nonsensical. Our message should be, quite simply, He’s coming! Prepare, prepare, prepare. Better now than soon and better soon than late. Prepare, prepare, prepare. I know that this is at the heart of your videos, I just worry sometimes about militantly exhorting fellow believers and fellow preparers because they do not see the same signs you do.
Comet Altas is now in the eastern morning sky!!! The scriptures talk about a sign of the Lord is people wondering if it’s a comet or a planet coming in the east and in the morning . Kinda fun - may or may not be it but this is def another wonder and sign in the heavens 😊
My mom was just saying, "I think it's going to be a lot of long, hard years coming up." I wondered because we've had a lot of discussions within our family about wishing he would come again. I keep feeling that a bunch of miracles is coming and my mother said, "Sometimes God doesn't bail you out. Sometimes he lets you suffer the consequences," in a sort of pitying way, and I've been thinking it over. I think it's not always that people aren't being watchful--it's that they lack faith that they are good enough people to receive mercies that they may or may not fully deserve. Mom has seen so much happen that she's stopped believing that there will be great mercies...I guess??? Just something to think over. It's like the assoofination thing--people seem to barely remember that what happened to the former pres was a great mercy and wonder. Already it's barely talked about by a lot of people.
We had a great testimony meeting one time where a brother said (to effect) “God is always with us. Miracles happen all the time, but the real miracle is when we notice He’s with us”

When I first saw your channel I thought it was contry music. I was a little unsure about your channel. Wondering if this was a true LDS channel. I hope I'm making sense. This is why I love your channel Jared bc we think alike! I believe the 2nd coming is very very soon! Especially after Pres Nelson's last talk! He is preparing us to be ready any day now! I think the signs or prophecies will not be fulfilled at all as we think expect or invision! Hindsight is 20/20 and after we will look back we will be in wonder at how these things were fulfilled, like you always say by natural means!

Scholars say that the Jewish calendars are 20 or so year behind ours ,but no matter how you slice it,yes, his coming is closer now then ever,l remember grandfather telling me who lived through 2 world wars , he thought they would see it,im 66 years old vet with cancer im sick of this wicked ole world, i know the restored government of god is en place and when christ comes, i plan on doing alot of teaching,,of GOSPEL.
I always dislike these comments. 1) it is your nephews Patriarchal blessing, not yours, don't go sharing others blessings that aren't your own. 2) A statement like that doesn't really mean much. You can see him return as a mortal or if you are part of the first resurrection you can see him return or one could even argue spirits in the spirit world will see him return. I often see these comments on this channel and it just bugs me. Be respectful of other family members patriarchal blessings and stop assuming that a phrase like that means that person will be in their mortal stage of life. I'm not saying he won't be. I just hate how people use things like this as a confirmation like it's revelation for the whole church. It is not.
When they were building the Conference Center in Salt Lake, a tornado hit the Salt Palace where they were holding an art exhibit. The tornado also hit the Delta Center & knocked a Crane over at the conference center construction site.

During a recent visit to the west side of Oregon, I received the revelation that location of people had been judged and it will burn sooner than I think. Every time I go back to visit, I feel the heaviness of judgement there. I think what we have seen so far is minor to what is to come. There will be a lot of mourning for those that are lost. I also had a dream years ago that still impresses me that it has yet to be fulfilled. I don’t want it to come to pass because it involves rescuing my children on the east coast from oppression. There is still a lot that will occur. I just hope I will be strong enough.
Many different groups of people have been mentioned in many videos that don't want the 2nd coming to come, or deny it is close... One group i do not think has been mentioned is those who want it to come but are worried for some of our loved ones choices and hoping they'll turn to Christ in time.. 💔
As for the gathering in MO. Saints are quietly moving there and starting homesteads. There are already three temples there. It would not surprise me if the Far West temple gets announced soon. I am looking for land there after I retire.
Jared I’m praying what you say is true. I’ve been watching your channel for years and I have agreed with you. My husband unexpectedly passed away 2 weeks ago. I so much want the 2nd coming sooner than later.
Love and prayers to you dear sister! The time between your husband's passing and you seeing him again will be quick. When you get to that time, you will look back and say it was a blink of an eye.
There is appointed times Jared. So yes we do have to wait for certain times. If you study church history and when things happened , they happened on Jewish holidays. Moroni made Joseph wait for the plates..not at random..but because of "Moed" or appointed time. Christ's birth and resurrection were appointed times.
I hope He comes soon!! I’ve noticed two Presidents of the Church in my lifetime who have spoken extensively about the 2nd coming of Christ, President Benson was the 1st. Food storage and preparing ourselves was a BIG DEAL back then. Members openly talked about walking back to Jackson County. We all had food storage. Kids had food storage under their beds at home and away at collage. The Savior did not come and many were disappointed from my generation, I’m 67. Many have decided it’s a long way off. Doesn’t this sound like the prophecies from the scriptures you’re reading? Honestly, I’m not sure the world can continue on the path it’s on without divine intervention. My 26 yr old daughter told me last night that every year the number of people who count themselves as LGBTQ+ doubles and it’s now 30% among gen Z according to a Gallup survey.
There’s no doubt things are ramping up. The second coming could be within a few short years or maybe even 50 years from now. Pay attention to The Prophet and Apostles, do your best to be prepared and endure to the end Brothers and Sisters!
I think before the end of the year 2024 too, maybe around Thanksgiving! That would be appropriate timing. Thank you for all your work and efforts to bring to light what matters most.
Why do we always think The "signs" are only for us in the USA? what about other continents, South and Central America? A second coming sign has to be seen by everyone in the world at the same time not just one specific location in the US or Canada like the "northern lights" etc...🙏🙏
I don't think signs need to be seen everywhere in the world to be signs. I do think that we need folks in other parts of the world that are as vocal about the signs that they see as Jared is! He focuses on the signs in the US and Canada because that's where he's located. We really need a "Jared" in other countries as well, to make the Saints in those areas aware of the signs that are happening there, too! I would add, though, that the US has particular roles in prophesy, and does stand unique in some ways. But I absolutely believe there are signs in all countries. We just need folks to watch for and announce them!
Soon is a relative term. We still have much to do and much persecution and trials to go through. Not to mention that ALL prophecies must be fulfilled, including those of Isaiah, Daniel, and Ezekiel which have appointed times.
I think you need to include the floods and recent celebrity allegations. Trigger warning though. Never have i seen such evil revealed in our country. Those are some falling stars
There are a few wonders in the skies you missed this year. That blue comet over Portugal was pretty spectacular. We have a second moon as we speak until sometime next month it will leave our orbit (not visible to the naked eye). The Coronae Borealis star is set to Super Nova intensifying it's brightness (was set for September, may have already happened) . Constellations have been aligning as well as planets. Just a few off the top of my head.
In the video you discussed 3 Nephi 8 vs 5. Do you think the “thirty and fourth year” plays into when Christ will return? That would aline with the conference talk and if it started then, maybe 2000 years later in 2034 it might be the time. I’m just guessing, but that stood out to me when you read that scripture. God is a God of order. And it seems like he has played out what his plan is already in that scripture. Let me know what you think. Thanks for all you do in keeping our eye to heaven.
A friend of mine has spent years prayerfully doing a calendar from scripture. Our calendars should only have 28 days each month from his study. Makes you wonder how far we are beyond our current year. Just something to think about. I don't know when but it's soon
When they are learned they think that they are wise and they harken not to the counsels of God. Just saying that too many are leaning to their own and understanding to figure things out more. Mathematically and less by the spirit and what the prophet's have recently said. Just like what we're talking about right now, so no Jared does not think it's going to be in 10 years. He said that in this video and it has others as well. 10 years is too long. There is rampant wickedness in the world and I work in a big chain grocery store and I see it everyday and on the news for like RU-vid, not major news outlets and what they want us to think. This is how he comes a as a thief of the night. for some reason there are a bunch of people that think it's going to be 10 years and I'm going to bet my life that it won't be. I've been going to the temple every week for over 10 years And have had a fairly easy opportunity to do so because temples are very close to where I live. I mourn for those that don't have the same opportunity. But the Lord is coming and that's going to change. Let us all watch and pray to notice that the time is at hand. I say that, because following the conference talk regarding 2034, I wondered if there was a point to the scripture I referenced and the talk. I put all of that out as a question for Jared, hoping he had time to give me his insight. Does going to the temple and telling people they lean unto their own understanding give you the thought you are loved more by God? I left the church 20 years ago and am just rolling back in. I left because of judgmental people from Utah. It took some growing up to discover you’re no better than any other person here. Please, take a hard look at your self righteousness. I didn’t know and wanted to learn and you made me feel stupid. It’s people like you people leave the church. I lost a lot of time due to my pride. I know the church is true; however there are people in the church who could take a step back and adjust. Chances are 100% Christ wouldn’t have smeared my comment and question, but would have answered the question with love. This is where I’m at. It’s my journey. He accepts me where I’m at. I’m happy you feel better than me. It’s probably true.

I only meant to say that with the time I have been blessed by proximity to spend at the temple, and this is also something the Lord requires of me, that I just know that with all the pieces I have put together over the years and the time I have been able to spend in the Lord's house, that the Savior is coming very soon. I'm so glad you are here and He sees you and knows your heart and all that you are trying to do as you come back. There will always be opportunities to be discouraged. Know that that is from the Adversary. The Savior is our brother and He cheers and loves us along our way. I don't work a fancy job. I pick groceries for people at the store. But I do get to see the world gathering with people I have met and work with from 30 plus countries. God is gathering His people because the Savior is on His way. You are in the right place. The word SOON has been a running joke among christians since Christ came I believe. I love the show "Chosen" and I love how they portray the use of the word soon between Christ and his cousin John, and also the apostles catch on to the irony of what does the word SOON actually mean when you are referring to events involving Heaven's timing with Earth's timing. A simple word that by definition would mean a short span of time but after 2000 years is still appropriate for an event we our waiting for our Heavenly Father to reveal.
Joseph Smith was very clear that he said that civil war would break out in a little city called Chicago, but that it would be much bigger in the future and would be heavily racially motivated. We are seeing that starting to happen now. So I'm not saying that the second coming isn't soon, but it does seem like there are certain things that have not happened yet. So either they're going to happen soon or it definitely doesn't seem that these things will pan out in the way that we expect.
I want to ask a question that has been on my mind for some time regarding the Second Coming. Will each of us individually have the opportunity to feel the prints of the nails in his hands and in his feet? There are billions of people in the world and millions who are looking forward to his coming. With such a throng how can I even hope to get near him let alone fall at his feet? My hope is to be alive to see him descend out of heaven but I dont see how I could get near him.

I wonder how the "days being shortened" will fit in with the timeline of the second coming. It seems like He is saying, I might come sooner than you think. Matthew 24:22 in the King James Version of the Bible says, "And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened". In this verse, Jesus describes a time of great tribulation and persecution that will be cut short before he returns as King and Judge. The Greek word koloboo is the root of the word "shortened" and means to stop suddenly or chop off. In this context, it means that God will end the tribulation quickly
I have had this conversation with my family. We have come to 2 conclusions - not that we know for sure. 1. Time goes normally, but looking back it seems a blink of an eye. We definitely have felt this in the last decade - time seems to have gone faster and faster. or 2. (like you say) maybe he comes sooner because of what's happening to his saints. Sooner to us... right no time for him.
