Hi Tim, I have a bit of issue with your explanation and would love some clarifications. When it comes to God's judgments in Noah and Lot, those people who were unaware of what God wanted to do were the bad people who didn't have relationship with God. To them, surely the judgments came as terrible surprises. However, to the righteous and faithful people--i.e. Noah and Lot and their families--God's judgments were not surprises. They saw it coming, because God had told them beforehand. So, my question is, doesn't this mean that in the day of judgment the faithful people could have read the signs of times? Thank you,
Doesn’t the same passage say that not even the angels or the Son knows? It seems clear Jesus is not only saying that the wicked won’t know when the final day comes.
