SES Titan of Selfless Service reporting, I have found myself stranded on a desolate world, there is little water, and the only food I can find are Temanid corpses, which is not very calorically dense, I am continuing repairs of my super destroyer as we speak, I hope to rejoin the fight as soon as possible, good diving my brothers and sisters! Whenever I see the thumbnail I can't help but think of that Futurama gag where Fry and Bender sign up to the military to get discount cards. When asked if they can quit immediately after using their discount, ripping off the army, the recruiter answers while they're signing: - "Correct, there's no obligation. Unless of course, war were declared..." _* sirens start blaring immediately *_ - Fry: "What's that!?" - "War were declared."

SES Claw of Wrath, ready for the upcoming conflict! I feel that we have been too soft on our enemies, for too long. Though we have all tried our best to bring about a peaceful end these past months, it is clear our enemies are far too bloodthirsty to be reasoned with. This official declaration of War brings great joy, it's time we showed these Bugs and Bots the real strength of the Helldivers!

SES Wings of Dawn reporting, we have started to see training facillities being built on Vernen Wells. Just in 36 hours, we've seen nearly 3 billion volunteers begin their training through a single facillity. We cannot wait to fight alongside our newly conscripted soldiers. FOR SUPER EARTH!

SES Lady of Dawn reporting from Aesir Pass. We were some of the first Helldivers to realize it was under attack after fighting at Vernen Wells and FTL jumped straight to it. Currently we’re doing low-scale operations, destroying minor bases and knocking out communications lines while dealing with small groups of automaton guards. We attempted a larger scale operation with fellow Super Destroyers that ended in failure, and shortly after we were forced to back to Super Earth for maintenance due to an Orbital weaponry failure. We’ll be back later to day, Godspeed fellow destroyers, SES Lady of Dawn out.

"WAR! WE'RE GOING TO WAR!"

It's been a difficult few weeks, with S.O.N.Y. diminishing our reserves, and patrols seemingly being more frequent. On top of that, a significant amount of divers were on bug planets during the eradication order. Yet despite all that, the remaining Helldivers still managed to scrap 1.5 billion bots. I am proud to have helped hold the bot front, no matter how grueling it has been lately!!

I love the slightly sarcastic bitter tone saying the scrap metal from 1.5 billion automatons isn't useful, as it has to be exactly 2 billion in order to do anything with it, so it's just all tossed out. I mean I'm sure you can make a few anti-tank mines with that material. At least four.

SES Hammer of the Stars here, our crew has been fighting on both fronts, and will do so again today. Our Commander Helldiver wants to keep scrapping bots like its a major order, spouting things like: I'll make them mines.. you get it? Mines? However our other crew desired the splattering of bugs, so we fought on both fronts.

Throwing massive shade on the idea that the terminids are sending out spores to other planets was truly delicious, thank you :)

Once again, I have been called back to assist in the training of new recruits, though this time, my classes have gone from dozens of recruits at a time to hundreds. Seeing the smiling faces and hearing their cries of joy as they progress through the rigors of the training fills me with hope. We can win this war, Helldivers! SES Emperor of Humankind. Have been stuck off planet the past few days due to ship-wide war games training by maneuvering units around a tabletop battlefield. Don’t worry, the democracy officer already cleared it as it can provide valuable insight into strategies towards combatting our enemies.

SES Purveyor of Family Values reporting again. The events of the last school week resulted in absolute victory! While I completely missed out on the previous major order, there is still time left to help to deliver some education to our new recruits. Luckily, civilian duties are no longer a barrier to spreading democracy.

SES Martyr of Morality. The good news is that landfills are just strip mines for the future. Plus all those workers lined up to make anti-tank mines are now available to join the SEAF instead. Because while every citizen is equally important to the war effort, they can now be more important.

SES Executor of Wrath reporting! The Socialist bots were generous enough to donate additional resources in the form of their smoking remnants to the development of the training facilities on Aesir Pass during its defense. So eager are the able bodied volunteers that some of these hopeful cadets have already arrived before completion and experienced their first taste of real combat (and even survived!)

What was the point of progressing the 2 billion order if when we failed, there was no partial success where the number of bots we killed would make the next time we would get an opportunity for the anti-tank mines easier? That's frustrating. Like it was all for nothing. We could have had 1.9 billion decommissioned and it all be for nothing

I for one, welcome out fellow soldiers into the battle. We have been stretched too thin to cover both fronts completely and SES Queen of Midnight is due a complete engine overhaul with how much vacuum she has been traversing.

If they could think, those insects and toasters probably thought our ship was unreliable for going back to Hort for "Emergence repairs" But in fact we now know our ship was simply getting switched from assisting in our special military operation to full war time preparations. Super Earth once again proves us being on the right side of history, heh even we didn't know the "emergency repairs" was a ruse to trick the already IQ endangered enemies of ours, showing how intelligent our high command truly is.

Proud to say Aesir Pass and Heeth were both successfully defended after an influx of players logged on this friday. Also we are on track to take back Erata Prime, so the eastern front looks good rn. Unfortunately as per usual there aren’t enough helldivers in the west to spearhead a counterattack.

Too many helldivers are traumatised by anti-personell mines, I believe that is why both major orders that have offered AT mines as a reward have failed. But rejoice, fellow divers, for you may be personell, but you are not tanks, making the anti tank mines harmless to helldivers!

Log: 05/17/24 Day 100 of the Second Galactic War Ship: Flame of Eternity Class: Senator Class Super Destroyer Captain: Mickey Wells We've been kicked around from the bug to the bot front far too much these days. And every time we change post it's another half hour of paperwork to go through to keep talk about the "Special Military Operation" down to a minimum. Suddenly, the Second Galactic War is on, and my schedule just became a whole lot lighter. It's almost the exact counter to what you'd expect would happen. At first you'd think this escalation would make everyone's life harder. But thank Liberty for bureaucracy, all the extra paperwork just gets routed to the poor bastard who outranks you. Every time we take on another cryo-vat of Helldivers, I think to myself, 'This batch is gonna be the one that turns this ship and its crew into legends.' Maybe one of these days... *PAX POPULI*

SES Champion of Conquest is currently out of commission, undergoing repairs and restocking on munitions, will return to the fight as soon as possible.

SES Sword of Truth was on the defense of Vernen Wells everytime. We will not permit those Automatons from taking even an inch of land!

SES Harald of Courage, increasing bot forces on Menkent. tanks and turrets showing on up on level 3 mission where before they did not. Increasing resistance while we struggle to avoid being cut off. We can ill afford another Melavalon Creek! High Risk of being cut off still in place.

SES Aegis of Steel here. I really hope that means the SONY virus has been deleted for good, and our fellow brethren in arms can join us in the cause of Super Earth once more!

Dumping those Automatons in a landfill is a funeral service they do not deserve

The failure to kill 2 bn bots was extremely predictable. The 2 bn bug order was glitched, and counted every enemy killed in a lobby once for each player on the lobby. Add to that the fact kill counts in bug missions typically exceed 2, even 3x, the kill counts of bot missions, I have no idea why they thought 2 bn bugs was equivalent to the same number of bots.

Would be cool if these reinforcements were called the ''Box force'' and they announce the release of the game on XBox XD.

I'm curious to see Super Earth's definition of conscription.
