I think Beterbiev has adopted it partially. His jabs have been on point last 2 years. Nothing fast. Just at the right moment and place. His naturaly heavy hands take care of rest
No. He is relaxed. He throws it without weight until the end. It's jab basics 101. He turns the arm at the end. I know because I've developed the same jab. He also throws it off rhythm. He would set it up when you think he isn't jabbing also.
Lmao ahahahahaha you said you developed the same jab ??? You smocking the good crack lmao yeah you have a Jab as one the greatest Middleweights In history ahahaha you another type of keyboard warrior
@@MobBless97 I mispoke. I meant to say I've developed a jab that is relaxed and has no weight until the end. I didn't mean to say my jab is as good as his.
his forearm is also directly in line with his fist on every punch, meaning his wrist is never bent. Also practising this wont make you punch like golovkin, he is a genetic freak.
Natural genetics he's got those tendons and perfect build for a boxer too. Lenky and not to mention hos damn concrete chin and he rolls with the punches very well, if he knows he's going to get hit he just turns his head like someone called your name from the side of ya you look
People also never mention that diet plays such a huge part in the strength of tendons and joints. Golovkin is known to eat lots of fermented foods and quality meat so his bones, tendons and joints are strong from that also. Almost all Easter Europeans have this. Combine that with good technique and hard work it’s no surprise. It’s just the basics.
I think what makes his jab effective was the fact that GGG had tremendous punching power to begin with. His jab was stronger than many boxers strongest punch

Nah not really your thought that way but that’s just the fundamentals you can do whatever you want as long as it benefits you remember there’s no right or wrong techniques in boxing just effective ones, and non-effective ones
@@The_Deep_editsretracting your punches after throwing them is the basic fundamentals even professional fighters have to do and is extremely effective but the rare ones that don't are usually very experienced and it's part of their style but thats not for the beginners this video is intended at
Yall also forget about where ggg is aiming when he's sticking that jab.. we likes to shoot the jab high and hit the forhead, which if anybody has been hit in the forehead it hurts and snaps your head back.
He also squeezes his hands , which is why he develops his grip/forearm strength, a lot of heavy handed fighters have incredible forearm or grip strength, Check out many pacquias forearms. and Bruce lee was heavy on this idea, its a old martial art understanding. next time try squeezing your fists as hard as u can at the end of the jab. after a while if u work on your grip strength u wont need to use so much effort to squeeze your hand
if done right, you wont hyperextend your elbow, it is a problem with new fighter learning how to box so deff watch out for it, but once u learn how to extend without over extending the elbow it will be second nature, but yes, u want every inch out of your reach as possible. make sure at the end of your jabs and crosses u turn over your punches, practice on the bag, stand as far away from the bag as u can trying to find out your reach without falling over your front foot, make sure your head doest pass your fron foot when jabbing, . @@youtuber-jo6pr
